Last entry: A Busy Time

Well I sat down last night to update the site and just as I got started David called. He was hungry and just getting done at the shop. He invited me out to dinner so we went to The Cheese Cake Factory just down the street from my place. As close as it is we both realized that it had been months since either of us had been there. We ended up having a great evening. Good company, good conversation and good food. You can't beat that any day of the week. It was especially good since I seldom go out during the week. Though this will be a short week (The University will be closed for Good Friday) it was a good mid week break from routine.

Though this will be a short work week it seams long because I worked over the weekend. This was the annual trip to Omaha to enroll incoming students. From my perspective things went well but over all the numbers were rather disappointing. We didn't have as many incoming students from Omaha as we would have liked. We went up late Friday afternoon and returned late Saturday. It was a short trip but I found my self very unmotivated on Sunday I didn't manage to get much of anything done. So I have been spending most evening this week attempting to get all the normal weekend things done as well as to switch my wardrobe over from winter to spring/summer. I feel as if I haven't accomplished much but had just realized that a) I live alone and if my place is a but disheveled for a few days who cares and b) I will be off this Friday and will have an extra day to try to get things more in order this coming weekend. I had just come to this conclusion when David called. I was in the middle of updating this page, doing some ironing and wash up some dishes when he rang. Fortunately with this new realization I felt ready to jump at the chance to get out for a while.
