| Dear Journal, It has been some time sense my last entry. I am debating whether to put it all in as one entry or to divide the entry . Where to start? In my last entry I said I was going to go to my parents on the following Monday and I did. David and I went down to see them and arrived around lunch time. I hadn't called ahead to let them know we were coming. About half way there I called from the car and asked what they were doing and if they had had lunch. When my mother said they hadn't I invited them out. She was pleased and surprised that I was on my way down. I never come home on a whim. We had a pleasant afternoon, lunch out with the two of them and later time with my sister and great nieces. Though David and I have been friends for going on fifteen years my family only just met him last year. He has the kind of personality that can fit in anywhere. My family is not your sedate suburban family. We are loud and often rude and obnoxious. If you do not stand up for your self my family will quickly run you over and spit you out ( mixed metaphor). Though I find David's family to be more sedate he can hold his own with my family. After a good day we ended up heading back around six. All in all it was a good weekend, though I did several things I didn't run into any snags. As always the following week was run of the mill. I do not often go out during the week and therefore one day looks much like the rest. The next weekend ended up being fairly boring. It seems that when I have a busy weekend I relax on the next even if I don't really need to. Until next time- |
