Geoff:   You're at the edge of the Rift Canyon. Behind you is what looks like an army coming
         toward you, they got 2 flying creatures, you can't tell what they are yet. They're
         quite a ways behind you, you've got maybe 10 or 20 minutes. To the left, about half a
         mile, you can see some shacks, and there are people there. They're going like this
         [demonstrates waving]. 

Larry:   I'll take the wand, since you're the DM, alright, Geoff? 

Geoff:   Yeah. 

Tony:    It's alright with me. 

Larry:   Go to those people. 

Geoff:   Okay. They're humans, they look like they're native to this territory. They've got a
         few shacks there, and they say, "Do you need a ride, do you want to rent horses or
         something?" 

Chris:   "No, we need some rings of flying so we can get down the canyon." 

Geoff:   "Whose crowd is that behind you?" 

Chris:   "We don't know, but I suggest you go into hiding." 

Geoff:   "You guys look familiar." 

Chris:   "Don't be stupid, go hide and let us go on our way." 

Geoff:   "What do you mean, hide?" 

Larry:   "These people are after us." 

Chris:   "Whatever's after us is gonna take you down." 

Anthony: I turn to him and say, "Who are you?" 

Geoff:   "Well, I heard the Great Kingdom was heading here." 

Anthony: I say, "Who are you?" 

Geoff:   "I think I know who you guys are." 

Larry:   "Who do you think we are?" 

Geoff:   "The guys who assassinated the king." 

Tony:    "How do you know that?" 

Geoff:   "Word spreads." 

Anthony: "Who are you?" 

Tony:    "Even to here, eh?" 

Geoff:   "7 guys, that they know of.  Come with me, I can get you down there." You go into a
         shack and you go underground. When you get underground, it's a big open cavern, and
         it's open to the Rift, but not the top. Inside you see griffons, there are 10 of them. 

Larry:   Hop up on one. 

Geoff:   He's writing on a parchment. 

John:    I�ve done that? Before? 

Chris:   Yeah.  [?]

Geoff:   [?] "Give this to the guys at the bottom." 

Larry:   Take it. 

Geoff:   He rolls up a netting that's blocking the whole thing, there's a few people rolling it
         up. And the griffons are anxious to leave, they walk out to the edge, they're just
         looking back at the guy, the guy who called you over, and he just waves, and they take
         off. From the top you can hear the rumbling, stopping, slowing down, and you hear
         flapping. 

Larry:   Dive. 

Geoff:   The griffons just go like this [straight down]. They start diving. If any one's looking
         back, you can see 2 dragons. 

John:    Mmm. 

Geoff:   2 big red dragon, and they dive ... one of the guys on the red dragons is hanging onto
         the reins and he's practically flying out of the saddle. 

Larry:   Can I cast a spell? 

Geoff:   Yes, you can. 

Larry:   Wall of force, right in front of them. Anchored to the side of the cliff. Even if it's
         an inch wide, if they catch it at that speed, they're fucked. 

Tony:    If I can see it, I�ll add to it. 

Geoff:   Okay, you put the wall up, one of the dragon's wings is just sheared right off. 

Chris:   That's gross. 

Geoff:   He starts spinning, spiraling. The guy just lets go. 

John:    Feather fall. 

Geoff:   Now he's flying. He's not falling, he's flying. He's taking out a bow. 

John:    Nice. 

Chris:   I start fucking ... dodging, cause I'm just a target going down. 

John:    Geoff, hold person on the guy ... didn't work? 

Geoff:   No. 

Tony:    Geoff, I cast a wall of force on me. On my back. It's a solid object. I'm using it as
         a shield.  [?]

Geoff:   [?]

Larry:   A wall of force can't move.  That's what's so good about it. 

John:    Stick it on the side of the thing. 

Tony:    Forget it then. I wouldn't have done it if I'd have known that. 

Geoff:   Besides, if you did do that, you would be taken right off the griffon. 

Tony:    Would I? 

Geoff:   Yeah. The wind drag. 

Tony:    True. Good point. 

Larry:   How far away is the guy who's flying? 

Geoff:   He's about 300 feet. 

Larry:   Darkness, 15 foot radius, on him. 

Geoff:   Okay ... let's have initiative. 6. 

Chris:   Go.  I�m not even going to mention that. 

Larry:   Geoff, darkness is 25 rounds. If it's on him. 

Geoff:   Yeah. The other dragon is still coming with the guy --

John:    Fuck, use a wall of force on the other dragon. 

Tony:    Alright, stick a wall of force out of the cliff. Time it properly so it hits. 

Geoff:   Larry, 30. On you, not the griffon. John, 25. 

John:    What hit me? 

Geoff:   Arrows. 

John:    Awww. 

Geoff:   The other wall of force gets the dragon right in the middle. So you just got a guy
         coming down in darkness.
