Larry: Okay.
Tony: As soon as I lay down the wall of force.
Larry: Okay.
Tony: 105 points on that fireball. That's a 40 foot blast area. Right after that, like 20 feet away, is the wall of force.
Anthony: What's the armor class of the guys?
Larry: -3. ... you see men coming from this side of the woods, more and more converging on you.
Anthony: Fuck.
Larry: You hear running water up ahead.
Anthony: Larry, all those groups that are showing up -- one fireball arrow that way, one that way, one that way, one back that way. So 2 on one, one and one. So one has 96, and the other has 48, and the other has 48.
Larry: Initiative. 6.
Anthony: 6. Am I helpless [?]
Larry: You still can't use a sword, cause they were a considerable distance, and they stopped when you started attacking them.
Geoff: I'm up ahead, Lar, is anybody still following me?
Larry: 210.
Anthony: Are following me?
Larry: No, 210 points of damage. More than 40 people were firing arrows at you.
Geoff: Is there still anybody coming after me?
Tony: Well, we're behind you Geoff.
Geoff: Yeah.
Anthony: I drop.
Larry: Are you dead?
Anthony: Yes.
Tony: Did we see him drop? Did I see him drop?
Larry: In the woods ... you see that he's not returning.
Tony: I turn around and go back after him.
Larry: You see them going to his body.
Tony: They're going to his body?
Larry: You're about equal distance.
Chris: Put a wall of force up and rush over.
Tony: I used it already. The only thing I can do is vanish his body for a while and then bring it back. That's what I'm going to do. I'm banging the horse to get him to go as fast as possible.
Larry: Vanish? What do you mean, vanish?
Tony: I can put him in the Ethereal Plane and bring him back when I choose.
Larry: When his body disappears, the men stop.
Tony: Now, I turn around and get the hell out of there.
Larry: You got a ring of regeneration?
Anthony: No.
Tony: I do.
Anthony: It's too late.
Larry: Okay, so you're gone, Tony. These men start charging toward us.
John: Okay, Larry, I urge the warhorse to move faster. If you want to, I'll carry the kid.
Geoff: No.
John: Okay.
Larry: You hear waterfalls, you break out of the woods, there's a cliff, a mile to the right is the waterfall, below the cliff is a deep pool.
Chris: How far is the other side?
Larry: Easily 100 feet.
Geoff: How far down?
Larry: 60, 70 feet. What do you do?
Geoff: My horse, and myself, over the cliff.
John: I do the same thing.
Larry: Tony?
Tony: I follow them.
Geoff: Tight grip on the kid. And I hang on to the horse, cause I got a ring of feather falling on.
Chris: So do I. Over the edge we go.
Larry: What kind of horse do you have?
Chris: Light warhorse.
Larry: Geoff, Chris, your horses don't make it.
Geoff: Dead.
Tony: Larry, feather fall.
Larry: You hang on to your horse, so do you, your horse is alive but it's out of your reach.
John: Uh-huh.
Larry: You're all going downstream.
Andrew: Okay, I grab him.
John: I got a ring of free action, so I can move a bit better.
Larry: Roll your dexterity.
Andrew: I got it.
Larry: You grab him.
Chris: I strip the saddlebags off the horse, and any valuables off it, like the rope of entanglement, over my shoulder --
Larry: Uh-huh. Roll your dexterity. John, take 4 points, Andrew, take 19, Chris, take 11.
Geoff: Keep the baby's head above water.
Larry: The guards are up on top of the cliff, shooting arrows into the water.
Tony: Fuck, transmute rock to mud ... where are they, above us? Can't do it. They're above us, they're going to fall on us.
Larry: You can't cast a spell in water.
Andrew: Can I fire at them?
Larry: No, not from the water.
Chris: You're swimming.
John: This is a shot in the wind -- the wand --
Larry: What wand?
John: The one I'm holding.
Larry: Take 36 points of damage.
John: Why?
Larry: If you pick up that wand, you take 36 points of damage.
John: Fuck, I haven't let it go!
Tony: He always held it.
John: I sleep with it like this!
Larry: Then you would have had to put it in a bag.
John: No problem.
Larry: I told you, every time you pick it up, every fucking round, you take damage.
John: Every round I take damage?
Larry: Every single round. Anybody with good alignment will take damage.
John: Okay. I need to know how many days have passed.
Larry: 2 or 3 days. You get 5 hit points a day.
John: Now, I'll pick the thing out of the bag --
Larry: Take the damage.
John: -- and I look at them, and I say, I wish my enemy was dead.
Larry: One of them falls off his horse.
John: One guy.
Tony: And it scares the shit out of the other guys.
Chris: Throw the fucking wand at the fucking cliff.
John: I ain't gonna throw no fucking wand.
Larry: John, roll your dexterity.
Tony: Larry, we have --
John: Yeah.
Larry: You almost lose the wand.
[?]: Jesus.
John: I put it back in the bag.
Tony: Am I out of this water?
Larry: Are you trying to get out of it?
Tony: Yes.
Geoff: Well, yeah.
Larry: Okay, you're making your way out of it.
Tony: John, you out too? When I'm out of it, bring Anthony's body back, John's going to put his blanket of healing on it.
Larry: Okay, you get out of the water, you get into the woods, you see the guards take off, they're obviously going way downstream so they can cross the river.
Tony: He's back, his body's back to this plane?
Larry: Yeah, yeah.
Tony: John, he's yours.
John: Throw the blanket over him. Comes back with full hit points ... I have 4 charges left.
Tony: A couple of us don't have a horse, eh?
Larry: You're alive, Anthony.
Anthony: I give this to Tony. [shows paper]
Tony: Well -- thank you.
[TAPE CHANGE]
Tony: How many of us don't have horses?
Larry: He doesn't have one, he doesn't have, --
Chris: I don't care.
Larry: -- and he doesn't have one.
Chris: I can move as fast as a horse.
Anthony: I can run as fast as a horse.
John: What river did we cross? Do we know?
Larry: [pointing to map] It's the one near the first T in "The Great Kingdom".
John: Okay, good. Close, very close.
Geoff: Is there a city down at the bottom there?
Chris: No, there's until here.
Larry: Well, you're gonna find villages.
John: We just got to get to a village or a port.
Larry: You travel downriver?
John: No.
Chris: No, straight across.
Larry: Around sunrise you see a village.
Geoff: Are we still in the Great Kingdom?
Larry: This is a disputed area.
Geoff: Okay.
John: So we don't know what to expect.
Geoff: Patrols?
Larry: No, you don't see any patrols.
Geoff: Alright, we go into the village.
John: People?
Larry: You see people, you see farmers.
Geoff: I go up to a farmer. I ask him if he has any horses for sale.
Larry: He says there is only one horse in the village, and that belongs to his lord.
Geoff: Can I see his lord?
Larry: He's in the village.
Geoff: Oh, the one he uses -- never mind. Do you know where I can buy some horses?
Larry: In the city.
Chris: What's the nearest city?
Larry: Chathold.
Geoff: It's on the Harp River. Couple of days away. Okay, we travel ... stop here the night. I ask him if he would mind putting us up for the night.
Chris: No.
Geoff: No?
Chris: Let's get out of here, well just keep going.
Larry: Okay, you will eventually get to the city of Chathold. There's horses for sale there.
Geoff: Buy 2.
Andrew: Hit points go up?
Larry: Yes.
John: We gonna cross the border, or are we gonna take a boat?
Anthony: Take a boat. Break the trail.
Chris: Merchant ship. Small merchant ship.
Geoff: Okay. Hire a merchant ship.
Larry: Yes ... the captain wants to know where you want to go.
John: Are you allowed to go to the Pomarj, sir?
Larry: Sure. It's open to ships.
John: Fine. Take us there. Does he fly a Great Kingdom flag?
Larry: No. Almor.
John: Good.
Geoff: Alright.
Larry: You get to Highport.
Geoff: Pay the man, if we havent already. Marlenus, get one of your ships here. Lets get out of here.
Larry: Kay.
