I came up with the design for this piece with two ideas in mind, The first idea was to create a piece of art work based on emphasis of color. To do this I had to choose what colors would work together to get across my idea. In doing so I chose two very neutral colors and one very strong color, black, gray, and red.
The second idea behind my piece was what would it be modeled after, even though all of my work is abstract I still get my ideas from things that are very much of the real. In this case I imaged a water droplet falling into a puddle of water and creating ripples. This image is also where the name "Vibrations" came about.
