I approached this work on a personal level. The name of the piece, "Moods" should explain the concept and thinking behind it's design. I started by asking myself how I can express my feelings in an abstract simplistic way. So I chose colors that would explain two different feelings, a strong red and a natural wood texture. These two tones would leave the viewer knowing there were two different emotions happening, but what could they be?

Secondly to link these emotions to one source I used the same simple shapes at the exact dimensions for each example. This work is very simple yet super strong.
