Email suggestions to [email protected] Duffy's Tavern 306 Dalhousie Street Amherstburg, ON Canada 519-736-4301 Duffy's is in Canada, but it is truly another favorite for Michigan and Ohio boaters. Duffy's has a full service marina, hotel and overnight docking. Duffy's is located near Crystal Bay in Ontario on the Canadian side of the Detroit River. This is another highly recommended place. Dock your boat for the night, have dinner at Duffy's and walk through town to one of the great pubs. Smoking is not allowed in any restaurant or bar in Amherstburg. Funds are in Canadian dollars, but exchange will be made. It is recommended that you call in to Canada customs at the pay phone upon your arrival. For return to the United States I recommend all passengers have an I-68 or NEXUS pass. Duffy's has great food and visiting Amherstburg is always a great time! Portofino 3455 Biddle Avenue Wyandotte, MI 48192 734-281-6700 (On the American side of the Detroit River in Wyandotte) Visit their website Portofino is another great place to stop for lunch, dinner or just a couple of drinks. Docking is available, but I suggest you call ahead if you intend to stay overnight. If you do stay overnight there are many other restaurants, cafe's and pubs within walking distance in downtown Wyandotte. Jack's Watherfront Restaurant Emerald City Harbor 24214 Jefferson Ave. St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 586-445-8080 Okay, if you haven't been yet .... go! Great food, great people and a great Tiki Bar.
