My Haikus

Well, hello hello.  You're a mighty brave soul!  I guess if you came to this page, you want to see some haikus so I won't disappoint you.  As with all this that I write, I accept constructive criticism, but it must be CONSTRUCTIVE!  Got it?  Click on Kero on the left side bar (the what??  If you forgot what the left side bar was, click on the Utena button at the bottom of the page to restart the Kero tour) if you would like to send me an email.  Because they're so small, all of the haikus I've written are on this page, separated by the dates they were written on.  If you see two or more dates, the first date is the one that the haiku was written one and the others are the days the haiku was edited on.  I'm constantly writing so I'll be adding more as time goes on.  Have fun!

10/14/02
Lines like spider webs
tangle around my hands, my
mouth, deep silencing

10/14/02
Rejoicing in the
still beauty, suffocate in
the frantic madness

10/26/02
Threads of clouds stitched in
a pillows, blankets of blue
in floating oceans

10/18/02;10/26/02
Walking nightmares, an
empty glass of breath, windows
fogged with signs of life.

10/26/02
Red scar in purple,
burning disc extinguishing
all life, slowly dying

10/26/02
Crickets singing, rain
gentle against the glass, leaves
become safe-havens

10/26/02
Simplicity a
dream.  Children play in a pile
of leaves.  Autumn wind.

10/26/02
Brown boxes of dreams
red ribbons in packages
of destinies sealed.

10/26/02
Rivers of life, a
floating rhythm in a child’s
dream, forever warm.

8/14/03
White answers drifting;
the sky is a red piece of paper
curling at the end.

8/14/03
Itching of my skin
whenever mosquitoes dance
in the evening light

8/14/03
Hot sticky dampness
like rain that digs in my skin
ever burrowing

8/14/03
Prickling excitement!
the sky waits for the storm like
children at Christmas

8/14/03
In Southern summers,
Nature reigns, laughing as she
watches humans die.

8/17/03
Between knife and tree
the bird waits patiently,
watching me slowly eat.

8/17/03
Like silver-moons cut
like paper in a dead, still
abyss, smooth as glass

8/17/03
We watch like puppies,
innocent and hopeful for
one bit of sweet food.

8/18/03
Swirling blue oceans -
lives hidden within cold homes
underneath hot suns.

8/18/03
Life underneath a
microscope.  Secrets unfold,
ever revealing.

9/13/03
The clock no longer
set, and the nights are longer -
the nights are longer.

Oh my gosh, please take me away!

Please remember, (oh my gosh, not this again) all haikus and the background on this site are copyright and are the sole ownership of the author, me, so don't take them.  I have an army of rabbits at my disposal, waiting for my orders, if you try to.  Don't say I didn't warn you.
