Newfoundland

I have seperated my Newfoundland section down into several sections. First, I have the three surnames that I have researched so far (Chipman, Jewer, and Norman). The Chipman section is the largest, but it is small when compared to other genealogies. Hopefully, I can share my information with others and they can do the same.

The other information contained here is information that I received from a professional genealogist in Newfoundland. Her name is Barbara McGrath and she did a wonderful job for me. You can reach her at [email protected] and discuss price arrangements with her. If you can not go to Newfoundland or the Archives this is a cheap and effective alternative.

The Chipmans

The Chipman section starts with Owen Chipman, who was born in the 1830s in Spaniard's Bay, and goes through five generations of his descendents.

I hope to continue this line of Chipmans, but now my time is limited. If you have any information to share with me or what me to share with you please contact me via e-mail.

The Jewers

The Jewer section is very small. There are only a few names, as I haven't researched this family very much. But, hopefully it can be of some use to someone.
