My name is Gena Henderson. I am 28 years old and I'm currently going back to school so that I can become a lactation consultant. I start work at a local health dept. in the WIC program as a breastfeeding peer counselor in October. I have been married for almost 10 years to a wonderful man named Claude and we have two children, Tyler and Alyssa. Tyler nursed for about nine months and Alyssa nursed for over 4 years until she self-weaned. She is almost 6 now and Tyler will be turning 10 soon. I had such pleasant experiences with both of my babies and I want to help others achieve the same rewarding relationship with their children.
