| Yellow stars such as the Sun are, if you like, 'Regular' stars. They are of medium heat, and fairly young. They also make up a large percentage of all known stars. Yellow stars have a surface temperature of around 6,000 degrees celcius. Yelow stars also have long lifetimes, after which they turn into red giants. The sun will everntually do this, but not for another fifty billion years or so. | ![]() |
