| Red giants are very much like blue stars. Some of them are blue stars after they have cooled down. Red stars are the coolest of all stars, around 3000 degrees celcius on the surface, but, like all stars, they heat up toward the centre. One of the best known red stars is Betelgeuse, which is in the constlation of Orion. No further information is available at this time. | |
