Uranus and Neptune
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Uranus and Neptune are two very similar planets. Uranus (pronounced u-ra-nus!) and Neptune are both made up of gasses, and they both orbit the sun at a distance of around 3,000,000,000 km. They are both also evenly sized, Uranus measures 50,800km is diameter, and Neptune 48,500 km. They are both huge planets, the 3rd and 4th largest in the solar system respectively. The crust of Uranus contains large numbers of diamonds. Uranus also has a ring system, but it is in no way equal to Saturns, in size or beauty. Neptune may contain water on its surface. Neptune is plagued by the worst weather in the Solar System, with winds in excess ov 2000 kph. These winds blow clouds on the surface, some of which are clearly visible from space. Uranus has 15 moons, the largest being Miriam. Neptune has 8 moons, and none are of notable sizes. Neither planets are visible in all but the largest telescopes.
