| We are no longer in Ushuaia. There were snow capped mountains everywhere we looked. We even have an awesome view of the Beagle Channel which leads into the Antartic Ocean. We went on an excursion in the Beagle Channel and saw a lighthouse as well as other islands that were uninhabited by humans. One island had sealions (nickednamed "Sealion Island") and another island had penguin like birds called shugs (pronounced shoogs). We also went trekking on Bridges Island, where a guide told us about different plants and animals in the area. It was fun, but very COLD!!!
