THE STORY OF THE BOOK
The genesis for Pig Apples was already within the first two: the boys, Tammy, the whole damn mess! And of course the 'villain' of the piece, Barry Boyd, he had to be in it too. But what could top Crab Apples? What could possibly be more valuable that bullenema exasperantia?
Then bang! I had it! The thing that would finally make their fortune! (I'm not telling you right here. Go read the book!).
I had a tremendous amount of fun writing it, and there is a particular sequence that 'arrived' about two thirds of the way through - an idea I simply couldn't leave alone. I loved that scene! (You want to know what Randy does? Read the book!)
And of course the ending had to be explosive, in keeping with tradition.
And it is.
So, will there be more in the *-Apples series? Wait and see.
