THE STORY OF THE BOOK:
Okay, first up you'll notice there's another name up there with mine. Anna (she is my wife, BTW) and I developed and wrote this story together. One of us did a bit more on the ideas front, and the other did more on the other front. I'm not telling which.
Anyway, after trying a few publishers around NZ, we struck a chord with Cape
Catley and now the book is yours to own!
A bit different to my own personal style of story, this is a teen tragi-comedy set in Auckland, about a kid called Jake Dawson who ends up having... well let's just say some 'interesting experiences', when he conspires to live the high life, all alone in his mother's
expensive townhouse (and mostly at her expense, too).
He meets a nice girl, and a nice goat, and everything goes really well for a day, then there's a noise at the door and Jake goes to investigate...
