| The Series 2-4 Test combines 20%-local clay with 26%-EPK Kaolin, 26%-Hawthorn Fire Clay, 23.5%-Grolleg Kaolin, .5%-Kyanite, and 4%-Silica sand. This body has excellent working qualities, performing well in handbuilding, extrusion and wheel production, and maintains excellent structure at cone 10 (2345*F). It also takes traditional glazes well and has a light/white color in oxidation. ***Personal Favorite, at this point in the testing. |
