Chow-Chow Khurma
Ingredients

Chow-chow -1
Moong dhal- 3 Tablespoon
turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Tomato-1 big(chop into small pieces)
Onion -1 Big( chop into long strips)

Grind to paste

Ginger-chopped- 1 tablespoon
Garlic-2-3 flakes
Green chillies-4
Coconut- Grated- 4 Tablespoon
Bay Leaves-1
Cinnamon- 1 inch piece
cloves-2
coriander leaves-little

Procedure

Cut chow chow into small pieces and pressure cook it along with moong dhal, tomato and turmeric

In a kadai, add oil.seaon with mustard, curry leaves and fry the onion until golden brown.Then add the ground paste and cook in simmer until the oil separates

then add the cooked chow chow and simmer for 10-15 min with 1/2 cup of water added. add salt to taste

garnish with corainder leaves

Serve along with
Rava Idli or Briyani
