Well, the portfolio is in (finally) and that means the stories are here, albeit a little late. I was up until 6am in the f'n morning doing that portfolio, so let's just hope it was worth it. Anyway, the stories added are as follows:

The Smile In The Flame - sounds familiar, I know, that's because it is actually a re-write (or more a 'second draft') of the story I wrote years ago. Anyway, it's in the same place as the original, in its place, in Feanor's section.
Life Is A Privilege - I know, I added this story just a couple months back. But this is the updated version of it after the redrafting process, so it's now up. It's in Di'thang's section of course.
Another Pay Packet - I decided that 'Life Is A Privilege' wasn't enough of an introduction to Di'thang for my Creative Writing colleagues.. and so I wrote this, the 'sequel' if you will. Being an introduction to Dithy, it is very informative about him, even reiterating his plural speech thing.
Pursuit - I mentioned this in my last update... This is my first story that isn't about one of my characters (Linsey's excluded, obviously.) ... It is about the villain known as Shade! Big thanks to Shadey (Dawid) for lending me the character and I hope to flesh him out more, sticking to the guidelines set by his handler of course, and create a really cool plot with him and Dith. The story is in Di'thang's section under another subheading with the working title "The Alliance." I have done this 'cos I don't want the plotline to get lost amongst all the other Di'thang and Aelin'uial stories.

Happy New Year! Okay, hold tight, there will eventually be an actual story update, I haven't forgotten about this place. In fact, what's happening is this. At the end of this week, my Creative Writing portfolio needs to be handed in. This means that by the end of this week, I will be updating old stories on this site ("Life Is A Privilege" and "Smile In The Flame") with their improved workshopped versions, as well as adding two new stories, the continuation of "Life Is A Privilege" and a new story featuring.. wait for it.... not Di'thang... not Feanor... not even Kaehlin... SHADE! I know, what the fuck, but more on that later.

Well with a bit of luck, now that I have started a 'Creative Writing' course at university this site should be seeing a whole bunch of updates, many of which won't fit into any individual character categories. Maybe I'll just make a "random student writing" page or something, I dunno. Also left HSW now, so that frees up some creativity for this stuff. Well, we have our first uni story and it wouldn't be right to not have it feature everyone's favourite (okay, MY favourite) shadowmaster, Di'thang. So the story is in his section, it's called "Life Is A Privilege" and since it can fit almost anywhere into his chronology, I've plonked it on the end of his section, before the Aelin'uial stuff.

It's only a short 'un cos we were given a rough word limit of 1000 words for the 'assignment,' but that's okay. It didn't receive too harsh a criticism in the seminar, just left a few people going 'eh?' at the end, which was the general idea... especially on a group of people who've never read a Di'thang story before. Anyway, that's all. Thanks to the random somebody who posted on my forums, shame whoever you are chose not to leave their name. Easy mistake to make I guess? TTFN. -13/10/06

Oooooh, an update. Yeah, talking BD and NWN and new story ideas with Shadey (the guy, not the character) made me wanna finish the next chapter I'd already started in the 'Never Figured Out' story-arc. Technically it doesn't move the story on as its a flashback, but a nice read nonetheless. So I guess, read it, as it's in the Aelin'uial section of Di'thang's page now, called "Death and the Daggers." No promises on when the next update will be, my writing-time is also taken up with roleplaying as Jackrabbit in HSW now, too. So yeah!.. -28/07/06

Well what do you know?! Exactly one year and three months since my last update, I have another. Yes, I have managed to write a story! It's called "Shades of Shade", the long overdue sequel to "Never Figured Out", and it's in the Aelin'uial section of Di'thang's page. Quite pleased with it, it's one of my longer ones, which is impressive since I haven't written in over a year.

Reading some of my old stories, tis a damn shame I never got around to finishing some of the plots before Lins and I stopped talking, I'd have loved to know where the Hive-Mind/Kayla story would have gone, what would become of Kaehlin/Am/Koell and the new baby, or what Di'thang and Ar'th's wedding would have looked like etc. Still, I could always try writing that last one by myself when I've finished the plot that started at 'Never Figured Out'? Anyway, hopefully there'll be another update sometime before May 2007, fingers crossed eh? p.s. poke the comments forum, give it some much needed love :p -13/02/06

Added a new chapter to the story in Kaehlin's section. It's called "Reaction." Don't know when I'll be writing anymore stories; inspiration gone. [small sigh] -9/11/04

Added a next issue to the story of "The Hive-Mind" Jared Anders, on his page now, its called "Outburst." It's very much inspired by much of Rose's work, (so big thankses to her!) in that the opening paragraph or so is actually bits of her work rewritten as he travels back in time... -shush, that would be telling! :o Yeh yeh, it makes sense to us anywho [snicker] the story is self-explanatory, i hope, anyway [nods] o.0 that's that. -5/11/04

New story added that is long overdue. Reason I say that is because the first few paragraphs have been saved in a Word document in my folder since June, I just never got round to completing the story; reminded of that fact by Kell's post on the forum, I now have, and am most proud of it. Thanks Kell. :) The story in question is called "Never Figured Out" and it's the third story about Di'thang's story, Aelin'uial. It's with the others on the Di'thang page, as i figure fathers and son should share pages [nods] hopefully this story delves deeper into not only Aelin's persona, but the rest of the Eil'deths', too. -1/11/04

The next "chapter" in the seemingly never-ending story about Kaehlin, Koell and Am'naelihn, oh and the new baby of course... is up. As usual, it should be followable without reading preceding chapters.. or Rosey's chapters which ain't available here... i try to be explanatory enough, eh. ... it's called "Blood Is Thicker," anywho.. as in the proverb, "blood is thicker than water" right? Right, Kaehlin? Right, Koell? Anyone? �_� -25/10/04

Added a new story into the all-new section for "The Hive-Mind" Jared Anders. He's got his own section now 'cos i reckon if Sable's two stories qualify him for a section (my bad, i guess..), then Jared's four definately do; and i have more planned for him 'cos of the ongoing storyline with Rosey. So yeah, he's got a section now... as you can see on your leeeft <<<<< :D The new story is "Remember To Forget." -16/10/04

The last Feanor story I've written is up, into his section (d'uh) called "Enflamed." T'is a small story I decided to write whilst all my other characters were 'busy' in plotlines... short, but I guess it's my attempt at poetic story writing, the enthasis is not on plot or thoughts, but on imagery. [nods] something like that... so yeah, until I get a muse (and time) for more writing, I'm done with updates... all my work is on this site for nobody but me to ever see. Added the next Feanor story in my boredom, this one is called "Relit" and is pretty much the sequel to "Smothered." It's similar to it in that the plot is really the thoughts going through Feanor's head after a certain in-game event, not covered by stories but explained by them as a past event. [nodnod] -23/9/04

Added a new Feanor story into his section, called "Smothered." It's basically one of those stories that has little plot but is made up of his thoughts and feelings, which explain the plot within them. A bit about Feanor; he is an elven sorcerer devoted to the God of Flames, Kossuth. Kossuthans don't believe burning is painful or a sin, but instead a blessing. Kossuthans believe those who die by flame are blessed to become loyal servants and warriors of their God in the afterlife in his elemental plane. Feanor's obsession with fire is due to this worship, and the story called "A Smile in the Flame." He fell in love with an elven girl called Avaene soon after entering Pilgrim's Rest. The rest is in the story. -10/9/04

Well that didn't take long... the new section for my pyromantic elven mage, Feanor E'alith, has been added as seen on the left! Change of plan though, I've only added one story, the first; his introductory story, instead of my whole series... whole being "four" :p Since i don't have any new stories in the planning, I'll just add Feanor's instead, so i can at least feel like i haven't given up (on myself.) ;D -5/9/04

Finally an update to the most unvisited personal site on the net; my forum proved my theory there; into the Kaehlin section goes what seems to be the final chapter in the current storyline, interestingly titled "Unwanted." Also may be the last update in a while; my inspiration has peaked and run flat, and what with school restarting and me having a job on weekends, what little freetime i will have will prolly not go into stories. Although I have a few stories about my pyromantic character Feanor that I ain't put up for incognito reasons, so I guess I'll do all of those in one update.

[sighs] 5:52am, I have work in an hour, and I have slept for at most 30 mins... goddamn I need to recorrect my body-clock and lose this nocturnal lifestyle; and fast. 'Till the next time I rant to myself... -4/9/04

Posted up a new story about "The Hive-Mind" Jared Anders, into the Others section as before, called "Gone." Not sure how much of it will make sense without Rose's previous story, but the imagery is there.. hm. It's a lot of hallucinating, basically. ;) -18/8/04

Added the next chapter in the Raph/Lia storyline; Rose didn't have the inspiration for one, so this one follows on directly from my last. It's called "No Matter What." 'nuff said. -14/8/04

Added a new "Hive-Mind" Jared Anders story into the Others section, called "Recollections"... i likes it, it delves a little into his past, hence the title, and features the lovely, yet strange, "Crimson Psibolt" Kayla Matthews. \o/ -12/8/04

Into the Kaehlin section goes the next chapter to the ever-growing storyline, called "Don't Want To Be This", it's inspiration being Vermilion Part 2 by Slipknot ((don't judge the song by the band that did it)). Hm.. moving house, getting a job, lacking a future and wanting what i can't have. Life. -8/8/04

Added a new story as a sort-of introduction to my new "City of Heroes" superhero character, known as "The Hive-Mind," real name Jared Anders; and Rose's character "The Crimson Psibolt" Kayla Matthews. Interesting characters, and I'm loving their stories; particularly Rose's, but still. His story is in the "Others" section and is titled "Don't Mind Me," though when I write a few more for him he'll get his own page... let's hope I don't bore of him as fast as I did with The Sable, eh? :) -5/8/04

Added the next chapter to the latest Raphael plot, that started with 'Broken Entry'... this chapter is called "So Close, Yet So Far" and would certainly appeal to anyone who like action/fight stories :P -4/8/04

Added the next part to the Koell/Am/Kaehlin story-arc that began with 'Not This Time' and consists of all the stories following it. This one is called "Away From Me" and is, naturally, in Kaehlin's section, despite his section now containing more joint Koell/Am stories than simply Kae ones! >_< -3/8/04

Nope, Di'thang and his family haven't been forgotten; added one into his section called "One For Sorrow," featuring Di'thang, Ar'thilmus and a toddler Aza'lihnlia. Yes yes, my muse for this was a set of magpies as the old child's saying goes about seeing magpies... "one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told." :) -29/7/04

Now added the next 'chapter' in the Raph/Calia/Keilia story called "Instincts"... i won't patronize by stating which section its in. Sooo loving these storyline things with Rose, even though i suppose only having half of the chapters on this site does sorta screw the plot up... heh. Still... i think they're all mostly readable without Rose's stories... she so needs a story site... POST ON FORUMS!!!111 -25/7/04

Added the next chapter to the Koell/Am/Kae plot, into the Kaehlin section of course, called "And Love Said No"... (if that sounds familiar, it's cos it's "borrowed" from a H.I.M album/song title)... I really like this one, for some reason. I like the stories that use little lines as breaking points, i guess. Just... nice... now I feel like I'm boasting to myself. Great. Fucking great. -25/7/04

Just added the next 'chapter' to the Kaehlin/Koell/Amnaelihn plot, it's called "A New Life" and it's in Kaehlin's section. I am soooo loving this storyline plot i am co-writing with Rose, i never guessed they could be so much fun. "A New Life" is my largest story ever... 5000 words; quite something considered previously my highest was somewhere near 2500ish... doesn't compare to Rose's 9000 worder though, but she's Rose and I'm not so it's all good. \o/ hehe. The next chapter of the Am/Kae/Koell story is up, called "Ever Pained" and is obviously in Kaehlin's section. Fun story to write... note: she lies, it was Koell really. Keep that in mind.

Also just added a Comments Forum to the navigation on the left... okay, i don't expect anyone will use it, but you never know hehe... and besides, i wanna test my theory that it will remain unused, and it's alot easier to set up than those little Comment box things on blog sites :P -15/7/04

Added a new story called "Broken Entry" into (wait for it!) Raphael's section!! I figured the guy needed at least one new story, so he got it :) note: Calia and Keilia are not the same person, physically. Keilia died (in one of Rose's stories), and Raph met Calia a while later... the story explains the rest, i hope. Enjoy. -15/7/04

Added the second "issue" into The Sable's section, #2 "Negative," which predictably continues the story where #1, Origins, left off. Two stories in a matter of hours... yay me! :P -13/7/04

Added a new story into the Kaehlin section called "Not This Time." It is, in fact, the second part (or Part II) to Rose's story of the same name, which she asked me to write a second part to; shame I can't post that here cos it's a beautiful story, but it's also not my story to post, and my part works fine by itself :) Very proud of my part too, and have actually called it "my best story yet" simply cos of the amount of imagery used and because of how poetic it sounds... I think it is worthy at least of being a continuation from one of Rose's stories ^_^ Also, as was Rose's, some of the story's imagery (e.g the cage/feathers) is taken from an Ayumi Hamasaki video called "Whatever." So yeah... hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing... ((wow, I ramble alot considering nobody is actually going to read this, huh? ...kinda like talking to yourself, but worse!)) -12/7/04

Updated the old main banner with a new one featuring some more up-to-date characters, the old one was starting to annoy me and it featured characters I've never even written about... the new one also features Am'naelihn, Rose's character who features in almost all of the Kaehlin stories. :) -9/7/04

Added a new story about Koell into the Kaehlin section... this one feature's Kaehlin in it, but the story is actually his son, Koell's. It's called "Released"... hope you like it, my hyperthetical readers. Also, I've added a new section to the sidebar, called "The Sable"... about my new 'City of Heroes' based superhero character, and I'll be adding his stories into there in due course; fingers crossed. There's the first "issue" of the story in there at the moment, rest to come sometime later. Kanta's story has been moved off the navigation bar and into the "Others" section. And hum... I still haven't got a new name for Dithy's son, though.. >_< -9/7/04
