The Buds of Spring is the Cotillion for young ladies in the ninth grade that the Gamma Delta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. hosts every year as a part of our Rhomania. Many of our Buds blossom to become Roses, a nod to the cotillion that we host for ladies in the 12th grade.
The Buds of Spring started in 1962 and continues to introduce young ladies to society in the new millenium. Gamma Delta Sigma is delighted to encourage young ladies to grow cognitively, develop a Christian attitude toward life and contribute to their communities politically, socially and economically.
The chair for the 2009 Buds of Spring is Ms. Ashley Zephirin.

The 2009 Rose Cotillion is being hosted by The Gamma Delta Sigma Chapter of The Sigma Philos, an affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The Rose Cotillion is for young ladies in the twelfth grade. Nominations are accepted. To particpate, young ladies must have a good attendance record and any high school in Miami-Dade or Broward County and have good moral character.
