Shenmue is a very realistic RPG, that takes starts off in a town
in Japan. You play the role of Ryo, a young man seeking revenge
to the man who killed his father. Shenmue is actually 3 games in
1. First their the RPG part, were you go around talking to people
and buying things, ect. Then theirs the QTE battle, were commands
pop up on the screen. Eaxample, some guy is coming in back of you
and you have to press right, before he gets you. Then there`s the
fighting part, which is sort of like Fighting Force. There are
not alot of fights, most of the game is the RPG part. You can
learn new moves and practice your aquired, moves in the dojo or
the parking lot. In Shenmue you can practically do anything, from
looking in every nook and crack of your house, to buying a soft
drink at the vending machine, or taking care of a little kitten.
Shenmmue also comes with a passport cd, which lets you go on the
internet to trade toys, or check the status of your game.
Graphics
The Grapics in Shenmue are amazing. There are a few flaws but
that doesn`t really effect the game.
Sound
Good sound, nice tunes, but the translation is a little badly
done, some people really talk s-l-o-w, probably because of
translation.
Controls
The controls take some time to get used to, and I found it hard to move around sometimes.
Fun
This game is really fun. You can play 4 hours thinking you only
played 1, I played it until 3 in the morning.
Graphics 9.5
Sound 9.0
Control 7.5
Fun 9.5
