GameCube Preview
Here's what Nintendo's new GameCube will look like!
The Controler
The controler is alittle strange at fisrt galnce. It features
alot of new things never used before. There's 2 control sticks,
one for gamplay, and the other is for camera. There a four
buttons, a big A button, and to the right, top and left, there's
the B, Y, and X buttons. The prototype originally had no D-Pad,
instead that was were the start button was. The Z button has
changed place from the N64 positon, instead it's ifront of the R
button.
The System
The console has the shape of a cube. There are four controler
slots, but only 2 DigiCard slot, we are not sure why Nintendo did
this. The CD's (which has the size or your palm,) are placed
under the pop open slot on the top of the console. On the bottom
right corner on the top of the console, is the eject button. On
the bottom left side of the top, there is a reset button. And on
the top left corner on the top, there is the power button. The
GameCube also has a handle on the back of it. In Japan The
GameCube come with no modem, but in NorthAmerica, you will be
able to buy a seperate 56K modem, that attaches itself into a
slot under the console. With a special cable the GameCube will
also be able to connect itself with the Game Boy Advanced. One
end of the cable plugs into the top of the GBA, the onther into
one of the controler slots of the GC.
