But i'm sure any news on this 'thing' is good news,so i'll tell you all that we here at the Gcubers Firm know.The new peice of hardware will be a handheld,and the true sequal to the old Game 'N' Watch games,hinting that,like Game 'N' Watch,the D.S. will be duel screen.This could be because from the begining of the Gamecube's life,The G.B.A. was ment to be used as a second screen with most games,so you could hide you're weapons from you're freinds on you're G.B.A.,while running around on the tv screen with nothing blocking you're view on FPS games for example,but very few games actually implemented this method into thier games.Nintendo might now be trying to start afresh with the idea,and create a whole new market,that many 3rd party developers fear,as it is so new and bold.
But what about the power!! i'm pleased to announce that the D.S. main processor is an ARM9 chip,which means in terms of power,it lies between an N64,and a G.B.A.,which also means REAL 3D games on a Nintendo handheld now.
The games are expected to come in the form of memory-like cards,which have 1 gigabit of memory,this is great,considering the 128 megabit of G.B.A. cartridges.
Whoever you are,you should consider purchasing the D.S. already,and there should be no exuses about how you already have a handheld,as this is something new.Have Nintendo ever been wrong?Well apart from the Virtual boy,and Rob the robot,and that Kirbys air ride......
