| Two lessons a week is highly recommended in order to have enough time in the saddle and progess in the sport of riding. We also advise at least one private and one group lesson. Private lessons to address particular problems and achieve personal goals. Group Lesson to watch and learn from other riders and achieve social aspects of the equestrian world. Liability waivers and parental permission forms must be signed before engaging in any riding or interaction with the horses at Gallopin' Groves. All lessons pre-planned are possibly subject to change due to the trainers schedule but will be given a 1 week notice. Each horse can be ridden only twice a day. The trainer is in charge of which school horses the students ride. She will match the student and horse according to whom she believes will be the best match, but often riders and horses will be switched in order to give the student a better opportunity to learn and ride from all different mounts. Mondays-Fridays are lesson days. Wednesdays are not particularly open for lessons but can be arranged for a higher fee. Saturdays lessons are only open to those who want to ride with Adam. Sundays are saved for particular riders who have tighter schedules. If the rider must cancel a lesson the trainer will need at least a 48 hour notice. If the rider misses his/her lesson without a 48 hour notice he/she is expected to still pay unless its an emergency. If the rider will be late a courtesy call is expected. |
