There is a part-time position opening to a 14-17 year old teenager.
Student must have basic horse knowledge. The student does not necessarily have to be a great rider.
The position is mainly a learning experience and includes; bathing, braiding, grooming, lunging, double lunging, training young horses and other students, basic vet. and holistic care, breeding, foaling, show managment and care, free riding lessons and much more.
$There will also be a small pay.$
Student will need to devote 3-5 hours a day and 3-6 days a week, depending on age and experience.
Student will need to have reliable transportation and may be able to be picked up by the trainer if located in Alturas.
Student needs to be hard-working, reliable, trustworthy, independent, eager to learn, and confident.
