In Brazil's Central-West region is the political capital of the country, Brasília, built in the 1950s with its futuristic architecture created by Oscar Niemeyer.

This region is also home for the second most important preserved area of the country, the Pantanal, with its wetlands famous for their abundant wildlife.

Stunning caves and plateaus are also found in the Central-West region.
