Developing your Career
At Prêt a Manger, you'll always be encouraged to develop new skills and knowledge. The success of our business depends upon it. Your training will take many forms:
We see training as a shared responsibility between you and your manager, developing your skills to meet the day to day requirements of our business.
"The success of our business goes hand in hand with your personal development. We'll encourage you all the way".
You'll be continuously assessed by your manager to make sure the best is being made of your skills and potential, and at least once a year you'll have a formal performance review.
This will be a two-way discussion with your manager about your performance and future development. Together you'll agree a personal action plan to help you achieve the most from your work.
Merit awards are open to all Prêt a Manger retail staff and are given for exceptional customer service. Everyone has the same chance of receiving either a bronze, silver or gold award. If you achieve a bronze, you can then be nominated for a silver, and so on. Winners are invited to select from a range of high quality prizes.
