The Mini-Serengeti

Calvin
Calvin and Hobbes think this place is great!

Pink Panther

One of the nice things about being a sorceress is that one gets to meet some conjurers. I attended a magick conference in Arizona a few years ago where I met this guy named Marty who was nice. I talked to him a while ago asking for assistance with this barn and he helpfuly created this small Level 3 dimention to house my big cats, and in thanx I named my senoch at the Kennel after him. Yeah, not all of the creatures here belong in Africa, let alone the Serengeti, but it seems to be close enough for them to be happy. Watch out for the tigers, they like to hunt when its dark.

So the first tiger I show you doesn't hunt much. Tigress, actually. Allana is my very newest feline addition to the Serengeti. If I get just one more tiger I'm going to have to email Marty about another dimention for these beauties. Not that I'm at all complaining, tigers are terrific, Allana in particular because she's so pretty. If you want one like her click on her birth certificate.

Mike the Tiger

Tigers are so terrific I have more than one. This one is named Mike after the mascot at Louisiana State University. That Mike isn't white, but the two of them have the same will to win (Mike of LSU wants his football team to win, my Mike wants to win in his little territorial fights). He's still a cub, and I adopted him here if you want one too. White tigers, as you might know, are more likely to have a proclivity towards magic than bengals, so once I get him thinking like a human (he's too young for that yet) he may be one of my star pupils.

leaping Raja

This is Raja, my other tiger. He's been pretty unclear to me about his origins only because he has a bit of an attitude, but that's tigers for you. He's still cool.

Tigger the leaopard

And this leopard is Tigger, my first African animal. Excuse me, creature. He's a little sensitive about that. Cats aren't animals, never mind that they attack butterflies, eat raw meat, and cheerfully hunt visitors to their page. Raja and Tigger seem to have come from the same secret place because they knew each other before they came here and neither will tell me where they were before.

Elora

And now meet Elora. This magestic cheeta is named after the sacred princess Elora Danan from "Willow". I met her at Shock Design, and as you can tell, she loves to run.

little lion BIG lion with wings

These are my lions. The big one's name is Goliath and the little one is Gingivere. Goliath feels that lions should stick together, so this is his little pride, in which he is king. He's nice though. I named Gingivere after an awesome character in Brian Jaques's book Mossflower, as you might have guessed if you've ever read it. I got Gingivere from Woobie World and Goliath came from Cyber-Critter Adoptions.

Kran the fishy lion

This is Kran. I haven't got a clue what precicely he is but since his front half is awfully lionish I put him here. He hatched on October 4, 1998 in my Hatchery, so he's very new indeed. I think Goliath is planning to take care of him, dispite his rather fishy backside. I adopted Kran as an egg from The Egg Agency
