| Animal abuse takes many forms. Whether it's a sadistic juvenile abusing one dog, or the institutionalized abuse of thousands of animals on factory farms, we must do what we can to stop the cruelty. It affects us all. It's all interconnected. Indifference toward animal suffering often leads to indifference toward human suffering. Animals need our voice because they cannot help themselves. They are exploited, abused, neglected, and discarded. We call ourselves a civilized society, but if we look behind the scenes, there is an appalling reality that we must change.
