Dear Emma,

My how you have grown, you are becoming quite the little lady. I can’t believe that you are almost 4 mounths old! You have changed so much in such a short time, you have experienced your first cold and soon you’re first Halloween! I felt so sad for you when you were sick because it seems like no matter what we did we could not make things better for you, daddy and I also got sick, so I guess that was you getting us back!

Like I said before soon we will be off on your first ever trick or treating adventure I hope we all have fun, Even though you are so young we still have a lot of stops to make. We got your costume at Old Navy this year and I know that you are going to look so cute because you are cute as a bug’s ear (I tell you that all the time).

I look forward to all of your firsts I know this year for Christmas we are going to go all out for you and believe it or not I have even started to plan your first Birthday Party (Fiesta), The two most important birthdays for you are your 1st and your 15th so we need to make sure everything is perfect (plus your daddy has a really big family) for your special day. I have lots of great ideas for your party this year I just hope that all goes well and we have a great time! I don’t even want to think about your 15th birthday not to mention the party that is when you have a special party because in the Mexican tradition that is when you become a woman so you get to have a really huge party and a really fancy dress, It is a really fun celebration that starts in the morning and goes on all day (I will tell you more when you get older)!

Well I guess it is almost time for me to go to work so I will close this letter with words of wisdom ”Good thing come to those who are patient” remember that my dear, I herd that from a really smart man, Your grandpa Engler!

   All My Love,

~Mom~
