Chapter 12
This was her father's car and she didn't quite care at the moment if he needed it after the party. She was too angry to consider anything but make him just as angry. Staring in the rearview mirror, she touched her cheek still stinging with pain.
"Look what daddy dearest did?" As she mumbled, a reflection of Yui's eyes appeared.
Jiranan, what happened? Why is your cheek so red?
"This is what daddy did! I hate him! How can he say that he love me and hit me?"
No, Daddy has never hit me before. What did you do?
"Oh, so now you're saying it's my fault?"
Yui's glance turned sad. Jiranan, what did you do? Daddy would never hit me unless he was really angry, which is rare.
Jiranan scoffed. "If you must know, he's angry that P'Ja's engagement got into a little shamble when her fianc happened to be caught with another woman."
That's it?
"Look, I'm going back to Ayuttaya tonight. I can't deal with this anymore. You take care of the matter when you return. As of tonight, I'm washing my hands of this situation. This family is so messed-up. Besides, your father wants you back and it is my power to grant the wish."
But---
"Tonight, you'll have your body back." As Jiranan started the car, she saw that a worker was staring at her as if she was crazy. "What? Never seen someone talking to herself!" Angrily, she turned her rearview mirror back up and started to drive away.

Andrew drove close behind, making sure that he didn't lose sight of her car. It was his intention to follow her and settle a score. He had attended the engagement at the request of Mr. Manojem and he had gladly accepted in order to see Jiranan and end this silly game of her with Pakjira. After a long talk with Pakjira, she had agreed with Andrew that she would stop bothering Jiranan if Jiranan would stop bothering her. It was most important that Andrew ended this quarrel or else the woman he loved and his childhood friend would end up killing each other.
Loving Jiranan had been unexpected. It was almost as if once Yui disappeared, he found himself leaning for Jiranan's tart words and sultry looks. And then at the party, when he stepped into the balcony with Jariya to look for Jiranan, he had been fuming with jealousy that he couldn't even think straight. All he saw was red and green. When he followed her out, he saw the argument between her and her father and watched as the woman he thought to be confident fall prey to vanity and hatred.
He knew she was angry. He knew that she was upset. And he knew that he had to follow her and demand the truth between her and that other man.

Jiranan felt someone following her, but when she stopped the car each time on the side of the road, no one stopped. Hoping that it was just nothing, she drove on almost hurrying to get to Ayuttaya. Only until she got into the driveway of her grandparent's home did a car follow in.
Rushing out of her car, she turned to see Andrew getting out as well.
"Andrew!"
He stalked towards her not caring that she was warning him to stay back. Grabbing her arm, he forced her to look at him. "Tell me now. What were you doing in that man's arms?"
"You followed me just for that?" Jiranan pulled away and glared at him. "You're just like everyone else. You assume without asking me."
"With the image I saw, what can I think? You and your sister's fianc were hugging each other---"
"He grabbed me!" Jiranan exclaimed. "Is it my fault that he did that?"
Andrew straightened and glared at her. "Your manner probably propelled him to do that. You've been acting like an easy woman. Why shouldn't he take advantage? You probably gave a hand!"
The words were barely finished when Jiranan slapped him across his face, hurt and angered by his comment. "Go home, Andrew, if this is what you think of me."
"What I think of you?" He wasn't looking at her as he was tending his cheek. If he looked, he would see right through her and labeled her a whore in that one moment.
"I mean it, Andrew." Instinct already compelled her to step away. "Go home."
When he took a step forward, his eyes shadowed and threatened to go home. Straight into her. Jiranan whirled around and ran, but he was fast and caught up. Struggling to get pass him, she thundered her way into the house, slamming the doors, but he pushed through, not caring who heard him.
When Jiranan slammed through the door of her room, she turned to pushed it closed just as Yui's reflection in the mirror lit and stared in confusion. Andrew pushed the door open, causing Jiranan to fall backward.
Shocked, Yui stared at the man she loved assaulting her body. No, he was taking advantage of Jiranan's body against her will.
Andy...
As his mouth touched Jiranan's body, the world turned dark and gloomy, a storm approached fast and Yui felt her spirit suddenly fainting. Jiranan lost the struggle and gave in to the need that raged through Andrew's body and vowed never to return.
