Chapter 18 --- In the Office

"Ken, what is this? Someone employed Benz Jakrapong? How come I did not know this?� Tik was already angry early in the morning after he left Kat sleeping with a hangover from the bar last night.

Ken and Tik were at the coffee shop, drinking, talking and doing their usual thing.

"Hey, I did not know this either. When I found out, I came and told you right away. She didn�t apply for any positions in this department, so the applications went to the other one.� Ken explained himself.

"Damn, I know what she�s doing. She thinks she can come and get me�ummm� let me back up. I mean, she thinks she can come and get my money and play with my heart, I won�t forget what she did. She wants to come and play with fire; I�ll be ready for her.� Tik said as a challenge.

"What do you mean Tik? You think she didn�t apply this way because she thinks we won�t accept her application, so she applied for another position so the other people can accept her? And once she is in this office, you mean� No, could she have planned all this out?� Ken was confused.

But he continued, �You mean, once she is in this office, she will try to get you back??? Or close to you, because she doesn�t have her husband anymore?� Ken finished.

Tik continued with Ken�s thoughts �I think, she thinks I am the old Tik. She thinks I will do anything and everything to get her back. Ha Ha Ha�she is WRONG!!!� Tik said with confidence. And repeated himself� �She is WRONG for thinking that way.�

Both Ken and Tik walked out of the coffee shop, and went to their own office. When Tik got to his office, there was a vase of flowers and a familiar scent smell of perfume on his desk.

He already knew who it was from. The perfume he once loved so much as it burned inside of him. As he was walking towards his desk, the door opened and the person he wanted to see most in the past years but did not want to see now was in front of his face.

"Hi Tik, long time so see� Benz walked up close to him. He was in shock; he hadn�t seen her in years. She was still pretty, as always; in the newspapers, in news on T.V, and in real life.

Benz continued, �Weren�t you kind of mean the other day when I called you? Oh, by the way, whose desk is that, next to yours? Don�t tell me it�s that secretary of yours?� Benz was questioning him already, as if she owned him.

It took Tik awhile to get himself together and not stare so hard at her. He remembered what she did to him and said coldly yet coolly, �Oh Benz, I haven�t seen you for a long time also. That�s too bad you still look the same, act the same, and think the same way. I have moved on, as you can see. And the desk there is for my personal secretary that I can trust. I don�t have to worry about her not being truthful to me. I trust her with all my HEART!� He said the word �heart� nice and slow, so Benz could hear it nice and clearly.

"Oh Tik, come on dear. That was the past. You know everyone makes mistake once in their lifetime, don�t say you haven�t?� Benz walked up to him even closer so she could face him and make eye contact.

Tik backed up and went behind his desk so he could sit down and ignore her and her lies. �Look Benz, I don�t want to be rude or anything, but what happened in the past I could care less right now. This is my office and it is working hours. I don�t have time for you and your sickness. I think you should go back from where you came from or at least go back to work or else you will get fired on your first day.� Tik said with a serious tone of voice.

Benz was surprised with his attitude, but that didn�t stop her from sitting on his desk and continuing with the conversation.

He was facing down reading his files, while Benz set on the table facing him and his chair. She then put her hand on his chin to face her, and she said softly, �Tik, you may sound mean and act like you don�t care, but I know you do. You think you don�t love me anymore, but once I bring the old memories back, you�ll see who you still love.� Benz said seductively.

Tik was falling for her and the memories; he may have been telling himself that he didn�t care when she was around, but when she was in front of him and challenging him, he couldn�t seem to think of what to say. But managed to say something �Benz, look this is the office and about us---" Tik stopped.

As Tik�s door opened, he continued �---Kat. Ummm...�

Kat was shocked seeing him and one of his girls in the office early in the morning. Just when she thought he was different from before when she first meet him. But it was true; he was a womanizer, anytime, any place, and anywhere. The position Benz and Tik were in, it seemed like they were about to do something she did not want to know.

"Kat, this is not what you think it is� Tik said with lack of words for an explanation.

Benz kept looking at Kat up and down, and did not move from where she was sitting. As for Tik, he got up the chair and hope Kat wouldn�t get the wrong idea.

Kat was about to walk out of the office when she saw them together, but Benz and her smart mouth wanted to start a problem.

"So, Tik darling, this is your personal secretary huh? Not bad. How long did it take you to get her in bed? I bet you not even a day. She looks like she could be easy.� Benz did not take her eyes off Kat, not even for one second.

"What are you talking about Benz?� Tik questioned.

Kat knew it was Benz, by her voice, attitude and Tik said her name to confirm to Kat it was Benz, his ex.

Kat didn�t want to run out on something fun, she thought it would be good drama. She of course tried to get rid of it by getting drunk last night, but it didn�t disappear. It came back and haunted her first thing in the morning.

Benz thought Kat would walk out, mistaken about Tik and her. She also thought Kat would be weak, and would cry over something that was nothing. Little did Benz know, Kat was not so passive, but smart mouth herself. So Kat turned around to face Tik and Benz with a smile and said nicely.

"Actually Khun Benz, Khun Tik and I have a very strong relationship. Us sleeping with each other or not, that�s our personal business. Who are you questioning us about our lives? I am sorry, but you are not my Mom!!! I have one, and she is not ugly like you. And the money part, ha ha ha�that is between me and Khun Tik. I can have all his money if I wanted to, that�s my problem, what does it have to do with you? And---"

Kat wasn�t finished with what she has to say, but Benz got up and started to scream. �Look you little whore, who are you calling me ugly? You think you can handle Tik? You are wrong! You think he is yours, well, you are wrong also! He is mine, and don�t think you can have him!�

Kat laughed �Hahahah...Hahahaha�Hahahah� and said with a smile �You think I want him? No, if you want him, I can share. But you know� I don�t know if he wants someone that�s already been used by someone as old as his father before. So you tell me?� Kat didn�t look angry or mad, but was having fun seeing Benz getting all burnt up.

"You� You... You little B@#%! How dare you talk to me like that?� Benz started to show her real nasty attitude.

Kat went up to Tik and put her arms around him, made Benz even crazier. Kat looked at Tik and said �Tik dear, whatever you do, I trust you. Our RELATIONSHIP is not how it looks to other people, but we both know it!�

Tik looked at Kat, and was surprised upon hearing those words. He didn�t know if the words were for real or was it just to make Benz go insane.

Kat on the other hand, was having fun and didn�t realize what she was saying. But she knew the words she was saying was just to make Benz get mad, didn�t think about Tik and his reactions.

Benz walked pass by Kat and mugged her up and down, and said with a snap, �Little girl, you don�t know who you are messing with. Tik and I have known each other longer than you think. We may have lost some contact throughout the years, but I�ll just say, once I am back, you will be gone!� Benz was ready to walk out but Kat continued with her smart mouth, yet still acting cool.

"Oh my, what is it with the word �kid�? Do I look that young? Well, whatever, if I am a kid, than you must be old! Umm�would Tik go for someone old or young? Umm� overdue or fresh??� Kat mugged her back, but smiled at the same time, it made Benz even mad.

Benz always thought she was the tough one. This time, she had a challenge. But before Benz walked out she added, �Don�t think you are so tough! You haven�t got a piece of me yet!� Benz threatened Kat and walked out of the office before Kat could say anything else and it would only make Benz go berserk.

Kat sighed, and let go of Tik�s arm and walked towards the door to leave. As Kat was walking, Tik went behind her, and hugged her back and said, �We have a relationship Kat? I didn�t know that? I didn�t know it was strong either?�

"Let me go please. I am leaving. I still have a hangover and I want to go to school and tell Noi I won�t be able to make it to class and if I can borrow her notes later.� Kat completely ignored his questions and said random things.

"Kat, what did I told you before, don�t ignore me! Answer me! When you said those things to Benz about us, was it true? Do we have a relationship?� Tik turned her around and looked her in the eyes.

Kat sighed and told him the truth, �What are you talking about? She was being annoying so I just said things just to piss her off. And what relationship are you talking about? We only have one relationship which is a boss and an employee.�

"Is that all I am to you? Just your boss??� he was holding both of her arms and did not take his eyes off hers.

"Look Khun Tik, you are a nice person and all. Thank you for always being there for me, but I think you know who you are and who I am. You know I don�t want to be here anymore, but since I signed that damn contract again, I have to stay here. Everyday, every minute, and every second, I have to watch my back because of you and your damn proposal.� Kat said honestly.

"What you mean watch your back? You think I might do something to you? Do you know that I had many chances of taking advantage of you, but I didn�t! And do you even know who that was?� Tik was getting angry.

"Who her? The one I just had a nice conversation with? Isn�t that the your love of your life? And can you please let me go? It is not a good sight if someone walks in on us looking like this. Just like what I saw you and your ex doing. I don�t mind you and her, but not me and you!� She said irritated.

"Kat, you don�t want anybody to see us like this huh? Or is it Ken you don�t want to see us like this?� Tik said with a green eye attitude.

Tik turned Kat around. He faced the table and made Kat sit down on the table facing him. A similar position Benz and he had, but this time he really wanted to do something.

"What are you saying? And what the hell are you doing? Let me go now!!!� Kat said demandingly.

Kat was still weak from her hangover and didn�t have much physical energy, only enough mouth power to talk back.

"Khun Tik, if you don�t let me go right this minute, I will scream. You cannot do this to me!!!� Kat was ready to scream, but his lips were already on top of hers.

He pushed her down, making her lie down on the office table in the middle of working hours and got on top of her, as he started making out with her. As he was kissing her neck he said softly, �Ken is who you�re afraid to see us like this huh, well if he comes in here and sees you like this with me, I wonder what his reaction will be like?�

Kat was moving left and right, kicking and pushing him away. �Why are you acting like this again? I thought you changed; you are just like those guys who only use people left and right. Get away from me you you�you� player, this is the middle of a working day in your office, get away from me!�

As Tik was ready to unbutton her shirt, there was a knock on the door. Both of them stopped and got up fixing themselves as quickly as possible. But the person who walked in right after the knock had seen Kat getting off the table and Tik was fixing himself.

Both Tik and Kat were shocked it was Hugo that walked in with a vase of flowers for Kat. As for Hugo himself, he was shocked seeing Kat and Tik in an awkward moment.

Tik said to himself, �Damn, I shouldn�t have stopped. I should�ve just continued on, so he can see she is mine! Next time, there�s no stopping!!!�
