Chapter 13 --- Is It a Dream?

They arrived in Thailand in the middle of the night; Kat was still sleeping on the plane. She had jetlag, and was not feeling too good. Tik tried to wake her up, but she was still sleeping, he touched her head and realized it was burning up.

His limo came and picked him up from the airport, and they went straight to the hospital.

"Khun Tik, your patient is O.K. She just needs a little rest. It seems like she hasn�t had much sleep the past few days and leaving home to a new environment did not help her feel any better.� said Doctor John.

The last two days Kat had been staying up to clean up her room, pack, and trying to spend as much time with her family as she could. She didn�t realize it would affect her this much.

"Ah... thanks John, I knew I could count on you one of these days�Ha ha ha.� Tik said jokingly, and was relieved that Kat was ok.

      Tik and John are good friends. They went to the same high school. John knew both Tik and Benz and what happened between them, but he was only an outside friend that didn�t want to get caught in the middle, so he didn�t take any sides. While Tik went to the army, John continued to go to college and med school to become a doctor. They saw each other every once in awhile when Tik makes a stop to the hospital. Other than that, they didn�t see each other much, but kept their good friendship.

"So� is this another one of your girls? Tik, you are such a womanizer just like the rumors are saying.� John said jokingly.

Tik was laughing and replied, �Shut up man, do you really believe what they say? I mean, I know a lot of women, but I don�t go for all of them. Besides, I think I should be getting ready to settle down with my life, what you think?�

"I think so too. Mary and I are thinking of the same thing. We think it�s time for us to start a family.� John said with happiness.

"Wow, you�re still with Mary? So� when do I get to hear the good news? Make sure I get an invitation from you and your high school sweetheart!� Tik demanded.

"Speaking of high school sweet hearts, sorry yours didn�t work out� John said with sympathy.

"Nah, that! Don�t worry. Benz and I are OVER�A LONG time ago! I have someone else in mind.� Tik said with confidence.

"Could it be the patient who�s in that room?� John said with a smile and knew it has to be her.

"Umm� speaking of her, where is she?� Tik ignored John�s last remark.

"Oh, she�s still resting. She could sleep here for the night, because it�s better if someone stays here and takes care of her.� John said with concern.

"Oh� it�s ok...I�ll take her home� I�ll take care of her.� Tik demanded.

Tik had two houses. He had one house with his parents and other for his personal life. He goes to his parents� house to see them every once in a while. His parent�s house is as big as a mansion. But he usually stays at his personal house; sometimes he has the company of different women, whenever he gets lonely.

Tik got out of the car and told the maid to open up an extra room and fix things up. He carried Kat, who was still unconscious, to the empty bedroom that the maid had just cleaned. Once he laid her in bed, he went downstairs and made an announcement.

"Kat is a special guest, so I expect you guys to respect her while she�s staying here. The plane trip made her sick, so she will be staying here until she gets better. Is that clear to you?�

Joy and Dang had been serving Tik for a while now. They were a married couple that lived and worked for him. They were not surprised when they saw Kat, but they were surprised that he opened up an extra room just for her.

Joy was the housemaid that takes care of everything in the house including their meals. Dang was a servant and Tik�s personal chauffeur. Both respect him and his personal life very much. They both serve him faithfully, and listen to his orders.

"Ummm...What�s her name Khun Tik?� Joy asked curiously.

"Oh, her name is Kat. Call her Khun Kat.�

"She is a pretty one Sir.� Dang said with a smile and laughed.

Joy looked a Dang, and hit him on his shoulder. "Don�t say that about Khun Tik�s guest, and are you trying to make me jealous?� Joy then pinched her husband who was still laughing because Tik was laughing.

"Yeah, Kat is pretty, but also very stubborn!� Tik was agreeing with Dang.

All three of them laughed and had dinner while Kat was sleeping.

      After dinner, Joy and Dang cleaned up and headed off to bed to do their own thing. As for Tik, he didn�t go to his room; instead he went straight to Kat�s room. As he entered the dark room, he did not bother to turn on the light. It was still dark and Kat was in bed sleeping. He then walked closer to the bed and looked at her. He sat down and went closer to see her face. He was staring at her and adoring her as she was sleeping. He touched her forehead to see if it was still hot, but it cooled down a lot since she got off the plane. He then slowly brushed his hand gently down her cheeks and leaned over and slightly gave her a peck on the cheek. He couldn�t stop himself from looking at her and touching her face with his hands. He wanted to kiss her more, so he bent down and gave her a passionate kiss on the lips.

The kiss woke Kat up. She felt something on her lips so she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was Tik�s face in front of hers and his lip on top of hers. Her eyes popped out in shock. He knew she would wake up if he kissed her again, he also knew she would slap him, like she always did. He was ready for it this time.

She was struggling to get loose from his kiss, which started out as a passionate kiss into an aggressive one. Once she realized she was in a dark room with him, she had to get loose. She was kicking him, and pushing him away. She was then ready to push his head away from hers and slap him.

Before she could slap him with both of her hands, he grabbed both of them and pinned them above her head. He then got on top of her. She could feel his chest on hers. She was ready to scream, but he shut her up with his mouth again. And he slowly took his mouth pull back from hers and said softy.

"Shhh� listen to me Kat, don�t scream and we can talk.�

Kat didn�t trust him, but she didn�t want him to do anything crazy so she listened. Besides, she was still weak from the plane flight and because of jetlag.

"I�m sorry I took advantage of you while you were sleeping. All I really wanted to do was to see if you were ok, but after staring at you for awhile, I just wanted to kiss you.� He said with no shame at all.

"What the hell kind of excuse is that? You were trying to rape me! And can you let go of my hands and get off of me!� She said with antagonism.

"No, not until you tell me who is Hugo, and what he is he to you?� Tik demanded.

"What�s it got to do with you? I don�t have to tell you anything!�

"Are you sure you don�t want to tell me. I have you under my hands and I can do anything to you�� He said that with an evil tone of voice.

"I knew it; you are the one that I have to be worry about. I hate you! And Hugo is the one I LOVE!!!� She shouted out, even if it was a lie. Indeed she did like Hugo and wanted to see him and knew him for a long time, but �Love� was not the word for their relationship. Also, it was the wrong thing to shout out, especially when Tik was on top of her.

"Your Lover huh� so, that means I can be your LOVER too, if I make love to you right here, and right now!� He said it like a jealous madman.

"No�No�what are you doing???� She was struggling to get loose, but too weak to do so. �Get away from me; you can�t do this to me�Get way from me�.�

Tik ignored her, and started to kiss her roughly on the lips, moved to the cheeks, and he then unbuttoned her shirt and started to keep her neck. She slapped him and hit him as hard as she can, but her energy level was not helping her.

Tik was saying out loud, �You have to get past me first before you can see whoever that guy is�H�U�G�O.., who ever that guy is, you can forget about him� you�re mine!�

He continued to kiss her, he took off her shirt and her bra was left on. He was ready to unbutton her bra, but she managed to get loose and fell to the ground. Even though she was weak, she managed to get up; but it was dark, she couldn�t find the door because she was not familiar with the room.

Tik got up and caught her and pulled her back down on to the bed. He kissed her on the lips again to shut her up from screaming.

Joy and Dang heard the noises, but they knew it was not their business so they just did their own things and stayed where they belonged.

Kat kept screaming out loud, hitting him, pushing him away with what little energy she had, she managed to use as much as she could. But she was using more than she could handle. As he kept kissing her, he felt her energy was getting weaker. As he was ready to let her go, she blanked out again, just like in his place in America.

"Kat�Kat�are you ok?? Kat??� He felt bad for taking advantage of her while she was weak, but he was mad because of the name Hugo. He still didn�t know why he was mad and still couldn�t picture a face with the name HUGO!

The sun was shining brightly, birds were singing and which woke Kat up. Kat slowly opened her eyes and looked around the room that she was not familiar with. She was ready to get up out of the bed and run out of the house, but before she could do anything there was a knock on the door.

Knock� Knock� Knock�.

"Can I come in?� Joy asked politely.

"Ummm�sure�come in� Kat said without knowing who it was.

"Hi, my name is Joy and I will be serving you while you are staying with us.� Joy gave her a big smile and looked at Kat�s pale face.

�Umm, hi my name is Kat, nice to meet you. Umm, can I ask you where am I and whose house this is?� Kat remembered she was getting a fever, and also remember some flash back of last night with Tik, but didn�t know if it was in her dream or if it was really real.

"Umm, you are in Thailand. You didn�t feel so well last night and slept the whole way through, and this is Khun Tik�s house.� Joy answered and continued �Oh, umm I brought you some clean clothes and wanted to help you get ready so you can go downstairs and eat breakfast.�

Kat was all dressed up and walked down stairs. She was a little weak but the sleep helped and gave her energy. However, she was still wondering about last night. Was it a dream or a nightmare or did that really happen with her and Tik?

Her head was hurting, so she didn�t want to think about it. She didn�t know the answered because she didn�t remember.

"Hi Kat, are you feeling better? I was worried about you last night. You didn�t eat dinner at all. You just slept the whole night through.� Tik said kindly, sitting at the table drinking his coffee. He did not mention anything about last night. He knew she couldn�t remember it, and he wouldn�t say anything about it unless she asked him. But he knew she would be to shy to ask, so he didn�t care.

"Ummm, will you take me to my place. I want to get settled down and find my way around Thailand.� Kat asked nicely.

"Don�t worry Kat. I will take you around malls and places today. I took a day off so I could take you around and to your place.� He said nicely.

"No, you don�t have to miss work, I can do it myself.�

"Come on, don�t kid with me, I told you mother I would take care of you�don�t worry�I will take GOOD care of you.� Tik smiled�

Kat didn�t know if it meant something, but she didn�t care. It was strange because he was nice to her, also�she didn�t feel right being at his house.

"Umm�thank you for taking time off from work to take me around Thailand.� She wanted to be nice to him because she was at his house. She didn�t know anybody so she had to depend on him.

"No problem Kat. I will always have time for you!� Tik smiled and knew where he would take her to show her the prettiest places in Thailand before she had to work.
