Chapter 12 ---

"Good bye, you have been so nice and kind to me�everybody has been so friendly� Kat said with tears in her eyes. She was walking around the office saying her goodbyes and giving out hugs. She felt like family in the office, they cared about her and worried about her when she was working too hard when Tik gave her a load of work and deadlines.

Auntie Vicky said �Kat make sure you come visit us, ok? Don�t forget about us when you go to Thailand, and don�t run off and get married� she ended jokingly.

"Ha ha ha, funny, me married? Never� but� if I do, you have to come� Kat went along with the joke.

"Ah� make sure you invite your mom and I, you hear? But I know my niece very well, I know she will take care of herself and know what�s right and what�s wrong� yeah?�

"Don�t worry about me too much Auntie; I need to grow up right? Well� I will try this way. As long as I have your support, I can do anything.�

Kat gave her Aunt a big hug and a kiss on the cheek and left her Auntie�s office.

Kat had only 2 more days before her flight for Thailand; after she said her farewells in the office she went home and packed.

She hadn�t see Tik around, because he had been traveling to China and her last day was before his general meeting in America, so she didn�t have the chance to say goodbye to him.

She finished packing, and spent the last two days with her family and friends. It will be awhile before she would see them again.

It was the day for her to get sent off to the airport to go to Thailand. "Kat are you done yet? Get your things and hurry!� Her mom was yelling out loud.

She heard a honk in front of her house. She said out loud �Ok, Ok� I am coming, don�t have to honk gosh�� she was walking around her room seeing if she had forgot to pack anything.

"Ok, I am done� I am coming�� She was running downstairs and the first thing she saw was a man standing in front of her living room door.

"Hi Kat, are you done packing. Are you ready to go to Thailand?� Tik said nicely with a smile. He was in his suit looking nice, like always.

Kat was shocked, what was he doing in her house? �What are you doing here?� She questioned him.

"I am here, because I am your ride to the airport.� He said coolly, while Kat was looking at him and looking at her family, who was standing behind him. They knew that he was picking her up, but didn�t tell her about it. He then added, �Oh, your family did not tell you that I was coming? Um�I guess they wanted to surprise you!� He smiled and turned around to glance at her family.

She was disappointed in her family, �Yes, it was a surprise and they kept it really good.�

He knew she wasn�t happy, but he didn�t care and carried on with the conversation, �Oh, so are you ready? My car is outside of your house.�

She was confused why he was giving her a ride �Mom, how come you guys aren�t sending me off to the airport, and why Mr. SaPone is is taking me instead?�

"Ummm..um�� Her mom couldn�t say anything� she was slow about giving her daughter a response.

Tik cut in, because he had an answer �See Kat, it�s because I am also going back to Thailand, and your mother thought it would be a good idea that I will take you to your place in Thailand and to make sure it is a safe place for you.� He finished with a smile.

"How would my mom know you are a safe person to stay close to? You might be the one that I should be scared of, and how would you know I won�t find my place in Thailand bymyself, I know I can do it, I don�t need your help!� She snapped at him.

"Kat, don�t say that to Mr. SaPone. He was nice enough to offer, so I couldn�t reject. I�m sorry about that Mr. SaPone, Kat can be so stubborn sometimes. She is still young; she doesn�t know her manners very well.� Her mom looked at Tik and apologized to him.

"No need to apologize. I am use to her by now. Beside, that�s nothing to me.� He looked at her mother with a warm smile, and then looked at Kat, giving her a smirk.

"I am going in a taxi, so�do whatever you guys want.� She was burning up, and needed fresh air. She couldn�t believe her mother was apologizing to him, and Tik�who was he coming to her house, and being the man who would take her.

When Kat was walking out of the door, he grabbed her wrist and dragged her in the limo with him. Her mom and dad were telling her brothers to put her bags and luggage in the trunk.

"Bye honey! Have fun in Thailand, and the first thing you will do is call me when you get there. I know Tik will take care of you, so I am not too worried.� He mom said with no concerns at all, when Tik was around.

"Yeah�you go have fun in Thailand, send us some pictures and write to us.� Her two brothers were saying outside of the car.

She rolled down the window, �Mom�You�re really not sending me to the airport? But� but�� She didn�t finished what she had to say, because the car was already moving.

'Dammit� she said it out loud and settled down in her seat.

Tik didn�t keep his eyes off her. He hadn�t seen her for a while, and she still has the same attitude. �How are you doing? Are you excited to go to Thailand and away from home?�

"What�s your business?� She was still upset at him and her family. It seemed like they were siding with him. She continued, "Just when I thought I was gonna get rid of seeing your face for the rest of my life after I was done with that office. But NOOO� I just had to see your face once again.� She spoke bitterly.

"You are steaming up Kat, need me to help you cool down?� he said with a smile, and moved closer to her.

The limo driver was smiling, and Tik spotted him in the mirror, and put up the window, so he and Kat had their privacy from the driver.

"NO! I don�t need you to cool me down, and I sure don�t need to see your face.� She snapped at him again.

"Oh is that so, what if you will see this face for the rest of your life?� He said it with an emotionless face.

"What are you talking about? Leave me alone, don�t talk to me, don�t look at me, and don�t get close to me!� She was getting annoyed.

But he wanted to challenge her, and didn�t care what she wanted. It was what he wanted! The more she hated things, the more he would do it so he could provoke her.

He was moving closer to her, even when she said not to. He kept looking at her and talking to her, even though she said she didn�t want him to.

"I told you, stop bothering me, and when will we get to the airport. I hope we don�t have the same seats.�

"Wow, Kat. You are being extremely bitter today, since the last time I�ve seen you.� He said shocked.

She easily answered him, �That�s because: I don�t work for you anymore. And I don�t have to worry about you being my boss anymore. It was really painful to hold myself back for one whole year and be nice to a sick minded person like you!� She said with an angry tone.

"Haahahahahaah�Hahahaha�.Wow, one whole year you had to hold yourself back. You better watch out, because you might be holding yourself longer than that.� He laughs his head out.

She was confused of what he was talking about� But whatever, she didn�t want to even look at him, so she moved away from him.

He grabbed her, and turned her around and continued with the conversation, �You said, you don�t have to worry about me being your boss anymore huh? So, if I kiss you, you are not thinking of me being your boss and you are not my helper huh? Well, I am beginning to think it�s a good idea me not being your boss.� He smiled and was ready to kiss her.

"What the hell are you doing?� She moved her head and was struggling to escape. She continued, "Just because I don�t have to worry about you being my boss that doesn�t mean you have the right to kiss me, or even touch me! Only Hugo can!� She accidentally said Hugo�s name.

"Who the hell is Hugo? Is that your LOVER???� Tik said with an angry tone, but he didn�t know why he was angry.

"Ummm�Umm�no one... Let me go!� She couldn�t respond to him, she still couldn�t believe she said Hugo�s name�

Tik let her go, and did not touch her the whole way to the airport. They even sat next to each other on the plane, but he was still quiet the whole time on the plane.

      Kat felt bad, but didn�t know why? She was thinking in her head �Good! Maybe it was good that I said Hugo�s name for Tik to know. He is not acting up anymore� so I shouldn�t feel bad, I should feel happy and glad because I will get to see Hugo when I arrive in Thailand.�

      Tik was quiet the whole time; he was trying to figure out who is Hugo, and what was the relationship that Hugo and Kat have with each other. Tik was thinking in his �Hugo� Hugo... I heard that name somewhere�but where could it be?? Hugo� You think you and Kat will be happy with each other? � too bad... I will be in the middle of this relationship! And I will find out who you are� because no one can have Kat until I finish with her first! Hugo� Hugo�once I find out who you are, you will no longer exist in Kat�s life! And� that�s a promise!�
