| Furry Friends Pet Services was begun in January, 2008, by Vaun Clark and Ian Foulks, two friends and long-time pet sitters with a combined fifteen years of experience as both sitters and practicing veterinary technicians. Furry Friends Staff Vaun Clark, Founder, Owner and Pet Service Provider Ian Foulks, Co-Founder, Co-Owner and Pet Service Provider Matthew McGowan, Business Manager and Pet Service Provider Having worked at over a half-dozen local animal hospitals, emergency centers and shelters between them, Vaun and Ian share a wealth of experience working with cats and dogs of all kinds, in all conditions. Both also maintain strong relationships with veterinary service providers throughout the area. |
| Vaun was born in Ewing, NJ and raised in Ewing and Hamilton. On his own since 16, Vaun found work first as a veterinary technician after several jobs as a customer service rep. Taking naturally to the work with animals and the detail-driven veterinary work, he has since served as a technician at numerous area hospitals and emergency centers. Most recently, Vaun has returned to customer service work but now seeks through Furry Friends to once again apply his experience and interest to the smallest members of people's families. Vaun lives in Trenton with his partner and their pets, Danielle, Maggie Kyla and Beauregard Jackson. Danielle, the oldest at 15, is a lab-dalmatian mix who isn't the brightest bulb in the pack but is certainly the sweetest. Maggie is an 8-year old black Shar-Pei who is generally skittish but has grown younger and bolder with age. Beau is a 1-year old American Short-hair who is still just a kitty! |
| Born in Long Branch, NJ, and raised in Fair Haven (both in Monmouth County), Ian Foulkes is a long-time veterinary technician currently providing service at Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Langhorne, PA. Ian is a history- and politics-buff, currently working toward a degree in History at Mercer County Community College. Currently a sophomore, Ian is on the Dean's list. Ian lives in Trenton with his fiancee, Bobbi, and three pets, Gabby, Potven and Didimus. Gabby is an excitable, wonderfully sweet mutt whose smile would terrify any intruder even as she tried to play with them. Potven is a temperamental but affectionate gray tabby cat with opposable-looking thumbs. Didimus, meanwhile, is a shy black butterball who prefers not to be seen by anyone - ever. |
