Harima was created in order for me to have a place on the web to showcase my poetry and fiction to my friends, without having to stuff everything onto a floppy disk and cart it around school. It was, at one time, just a plain index page with nothing more than pretty, colorful text and a lot of links strewn across a black background. It's developed a little further since then, much to my delight, and has become this. A slightly popular, though not obnoxiously so, website that is supportive of practically everything under the sun. The menu above will guide you around my site. My livejournal is the only page that is updated practically every day, and that is because it is where I write everything there is to know about my life. My complaints, my obsessions, things that make me sad, things that make me happy... You get my drift. Below it is a livejournal community that my friend Manda and I made together. If this site is updated, you can find out about the new additions on the updates page. And so on down the list. I think it's prudent to note that Harima contains material that is homosexual in nature, and I will not tolerate flame mail under any circumstances. Nothing here is pornographic or grossly sexual in nature, but it still implies males in romantic situations with each other. If this offends you, then you know how to exit the site. If reading fiction isn't your cup of tea, there are several other things on this site that may interest you. The poetry page is filled with poems that I have written at all different points of time in my life; from the time I was twelve to now, and it will continue to be updated as the years progress. I also have a page of graphic art, where I take images and edit them in PSP simply out of boredom. There is more to come as I figure out what else to add, so don't lose interest if you don't see anything immediately captivating. :) Please? Assuming that you've read this far, you are one of two things: incredibly easy to amuse, or very bored. Either way, I'm glad I've interest you thus far. Enjoy your stay at Harima. -Liz |
