I certainly do enjoy giving this site new looks, don't I? :3 Well, I've always preferred cold weather to summer heat, so I decided to make a wintery layout, just to cling to winter a little longer. The image that I used (the girl in the Japanese school uniform) was taken from dizzied.com sometime last year when she was still offering free, random images every day. I snitched this one, thought it was pretty, and used it. What is there to update... oh! I've added the first few chapters of a non-fantasy story I'm kind of picking my way through. I'm writing it in the break I'm taking from Amusing the Vampire, so if you'd like to check that out, feel free. Also, I'm taking a crack at writing a story that has nothing to do with humans or romance, and I've uploaded that one too. :/ We'll see how they fair. -Liz 6/8/03 I've got some poems in the works that should be up by the next update, as well as the first chapter in another story I'm writing. It's completely non-related to any of the AtV plotline, and I'm pretty sure you'll like it. If you'll notice, there is a new option available for you to look at--Slash Addicts is a livejournal community that Manda and I have made recently. It's actually gathered quite a few members and is increasing in popularity. If you'd like to check it out, feel more than welcome. ^_^ Manda and I are the friendly sort, even if she is more gifted that I am. ): No one likes me... </pity party> Also, do note that there might be a change of location for Harima sometime soon, depending on what I decide. ^^ It's a good thing, don't worry. -Liz 6/4/03 Happy Anti-Homophobia Day, Quebec! ^_^ Now that I've gotten that out of the way, on to the actual updates... Nothing written has been updated. I'm taking a one-month break on Amusing the Vampire so I can get where I'm going with the story completely plotted out on paper and in my head. I have the gist ready, really, but people who know me can vouch for me when I say I'm not the most organized person in the world.. -.-;; Just give me time. There are a few new graphics up on the Designs page, as well as a few links. Also a new persona created on Furcadia, so if you'd like to see another way to contact me, go check that out. Racism really sucks. Did you lot know that? -Liz 5/25/03 Nothing was really updated. I fixed a few little problems that a friend mentioned to me and gave the back ground a change. I will be updating AtV relatively soon to keep the chapters up to date. I've written a few more--past the halfway point now! *glee* Also, I've got a few pictures up in the Furcadia section. Take a look; they're nothing really special, but it will give you an idea of what Furcadia is like if you've never used it before. -Liz 5/21/03 We opened up again!! YAY!! All right, now down to business. The nearly completed, rewritten version of Amusing the Vampire is now available for your viewing pleasure on the Prose page, along with a short story called The Memory Tree, which is also very nice. There are also a lot of new poems on the poetry page, plus that handy dandy designs page up there! Go see what's available, but don't steal anything... ;.; Also, a minor note: There will no longer be any fan-fiction on this website. If you are looking for fan fiction, I'm sorry to tell you that it will not be found here. A notice will be posted on the prose page as well, just in case no one decides to check the updates page.. twits..
