Chapter 6
I couldn't believe what I saw.  Christian was sitting on the couch in the front room, making out with some chick.  As soon as the bags dropped onto the floor, Christian turned sideways to face the doorway where I stood.  He immidiately pushed the girl off his lap and onto the floor.
"No...Don't even...Just leave me alone."  I said pointing at him angrily as tears began falling down my cheeks.  I wiped them away with the back of my hand, turned around and walked out the door slamming it shut.  I was so upset I ran down the stairs in front of the house and took off.  I walked down the street and stopped when I reached the neighborhood park.  I sat on a bench underneath a tree and cried.  Soon after I sat down Mark ran towards me with Ste following closely behind him.  They sat down next to me and I cried into Mark's shoulder.  He put his arm around me.
"I am so sorry Carlee, but I think you should go back and talk to him."  Mark said panting.  Ste reached behind the bench and slapped the back of Mark's head and signalling him to stop.
"No...I don't want to go back there and talk to him,"  I sniffled, "I know what I saw and he lied to me, he lied.  He said he would never hurt me, he said he loved me.  I can't go back there and stay with his family and pretend everything is fine.  I can't!"  I cried.
"Well since Christian is staying at his parent's house, you can stay in our apartment."  Ste answered quietly.  I nodded my head.

Christian lay staring at the ceiling in his room.  He leaned turned over to reach the radio next to his night stand.  He flipped through the stations and settled on the first one he stopped on the first one that came through clearly.
"And now here's a oldie but goody coming to you from Oldies 43.6."  The disc jokey said enthusiastically.

I got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it's cold outside, I got the month of May...
Christian reached down his leg and pulled off his shoe and threw it at the  stereo which immediately stopped playing.

The second night I was finally feeling comfortable at the boys' apartment. I was really upset, but had managed to stay away from Christian for two days.  I settled into bed and flipped on the television.  The door was thrown open and Ste walked into the room.
"Christian came over to get some of his clothes.  I didn't think you wanted to see him so..."  Ste said digging into the closet, pulling some shirts off hangers and tossing them over his arm.  He walked out and I layed back down on the bed.  A few minutes later a note was slid under the door with my name printed neatly on the front.  I opened the white envelope and unfolded the pale blue paper that read:

Carlee, Please understand that I never had any intentions of hurting you.  I don't know why I did what I did, but I'm sorry.  Please talk to me, call me any time, I just really need to explain.  But I love you, I have always loved you.  Get back to me.  I'm Sorry, Christian
I folded the note back up and put it back into the envelope.  I cried until I fell asleep.
