Character Creation:
Here are the basic things you will need to know when creating your character.  First off this is a fantasy game and you should never take this as real life.  It is a game. G-A-M-E.  Now that that's out of the way on to making your character.  First you will need to write down your name.  This is the name for your character.  Since the game (there's that darn word again) takes place in many different times and realities you have a huge variety to choose from. Try not to use famous names from books or movies, such as Conan, Rambo, or Neo.

Now that you have a name you have to choose a race.  there are many different races to choose from and I suggest you go threw them all and determine which one fits you best or what one you would like to play the most.  In each race there are certain advantages and disadvantages.  You should consider these things when choosing your race.

You need to write your age.  This is the age that is relevant to your character.  It has a nasty tendency to change about once a year.  Also it may be altered in the game do to magic or other effects.  Next on the list is the sex category.  I know it is tempting to write a smart remark such as "yes, please" or "not enough" but please be serious.  If you would be so kind as to simply mark it with a "M", "F", or "H".  "M" is for male, "F" is for female, and "H" is for... well if you don't know what "H" is for it doesn't apply to you.  Also this must be your actual gender.  Now that we have that we can move right along. Next on the list brings us to all your physical features: height and weight.  The features that you choose for your character you should roll play out so if you say you have red skin, wear red face paint.  For your weight it will be what you believe your race would be.. (For all you ladies out there who don't like to give out your weight, a believable lie will do.)

Onward and upward.  Now to the whole deity thing.  This is the spot for the god or goddess you will be following IN GAME. (Have I stressed game enough yet?)  You may opt. to take none for the start of your character until you find one that suits you.  There are many different gods and goddess's to choose from. Take care on who you follow because it could make all the difference.

Now with the high and all powerful deities out of the way we can move onto the more earthly matters like hit points and armor points.  First we will start off with the thing that is the essence of all life (wait that is your soul, I'll get to that later), Anyway on to hit points.  Hit points represent the punishment your body can take before it just gives up on you.  When your hit points hit zero you are in trouble. Once all of your hit points are all gone you go to the sectional combat system.  How this wroks is if you are hit in the arm you lose your arm and must put it behind your back.  The same thing goes for legs as well.  If you are hit in the head, back, chest or the top of the shoulders you are dead. This is a pretty grave situation, but it isn't the end by far.  Unlike real life when you die in the game (!), you will probably get a second chance.  This will all be explained later.  Now for the fun part, getting hit points.  For you to get additional hit points you must buy them with Character Points. Now there are other ways of gaining hit points but it really isn't my place to say how.  Well now that we've covered hit points we can move onto the next item on the list, Armor points.  Armor points are the things that make it really hard for the bad guys to hurt you.  There are three ways for you to get armor points.  The first is, you guessed it, wearing armor, the second is though spells and the third is though abilities. So for a starting character if you don't wear armor and you don't have a spell that provides armor than you don't have armor.  More about armor is shown in the
Arms and Armor section.

Next on the list of things to do are spells.  Ok I know this isn't in depth but I just wanted to touch base on this.  For more information on the whole spell system get in touch with me or someone else who has been in the game for awhile. Here goes.  You have to spend Character Points to buy into the path of magic that you want to gain spells from.  Once you have bought into the path you can then buy the spells out of that path for their Character point cost. There is no maximum amout of spells or paths that you can have as long as you have the propor amount of points to cover all the the things you have.

Another thing that needs to be said about the spell system is that you need a spell book or some form of record that will keep track of all your spells and what not.  The things that should be listed in you spell book are as follows: Name, number of paths, Spells that you know or are learning, all the components that are required for each spell such as verbal, materials, and number of castings.

Next item that must be covered are Skills.  Skills are extra special things that your character can do that are not spells.  To gain skills you must spend Character Points to get them.  Each Skill requires a different amount of Character Points.

Well I guess that brings us to the last item on the list, Abilities.  This description should be short and sweet.  When you pick your race all the abilities you get are listed in the discription.
Well that concludes the character creation section.  I hope it has all the info. You need to start our game.
