The Spell System
In this segment I will be telling you about the basic rules that you need to know about the spell system in this game.
Requirements of a spell caster:
A Spell Book:
This is for keeping track of all the spells you have and what are required for each spell.  It must be on you at all times for you to cast spells.  A marshal may ask you to present it at any time for any reason.

Here is the order your spell book should be in:
First Page:
In Character Name
Out of Character Name
Personal Symbol
Paths of Magic
Race
Weapons Learned
List of Spells Known

Spell Pages:
Spell Name
Verbal Component
Material Component
Number of Uses of Spells
Signature of Teacher
Date of Spell Learned

You should also have a running list of events that you have attended for reference.

Knowledge of the Spell System:
As a spell caster you must know what your spells do and how they effect both you and the target that you are casting them on.  This will help diminish some of the confusion when some one is hit with a spell that they don't know they can simply ask.

Material Components:
You will need to know what spell components that are required for each of your spells, if you don't have the components you can't cast your spells. A marshal my ask to see you components at any time for any reason.

Verbal Components:
In addition to the Material components that you must have availabel, you should also memorize your verbal components, although it is not required, it helps speed up the casting process.  If you do not have your Verbal components memorized then you must look into your spell book and read them from there. If you mess up your verbal component then the spell does not work.

At any time you may be questioned on the spell system on facts that may effect to you.
Spell Paths
Spell Discriptions
...
Learning Spells:
When you begin learining spells you must first buy the path that you wish to begin learining in.  This cost is represented by the number next to the path name. By paying this cost you simply gain the writes to begin learining spells from that path, you do not accualy get any spells from it untill you buy the spells individualy. The cost of the spells is the number on the right of the spell. You do not have to go in any perticular order from that path you simply have to pay the cost of the spell that you want to gain it. The only exception to this rule is the tenth level spell in each path, the only way you can gain access to the tenth level spell is if you have at least one learining of every other spell in that path.
