The shire administration (Gažing) of the Southern Domain is located in Storgard, the capital of the Tern Islands. Due to its distance from the European mother country, it has some additional authorizations. The head of state is the Frilandic king/queen and the official currency is the skat.
The flag of the Southern Domain consists of the Frilandic blue and white with a star on it, representing the Southern Cross.
The Southern Domain has a total of 9,500 inhabitants, all of whom live on the Tern Islands. The Frilandic Antarctic Territory is uninhabited.
