The Friends meet on the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 P.M.
in the Meeting Room
of The Merrimac Library.
If you would like to attend a meeting please call the Merrimac Library and leave your name and telephone number and someone will call you to confirm our meeting date and time.

New museum passes are now
available in the Library. The Friends have purchased passes to The Peabody Essex Museum and The Stoneham and Franklin Park Zoos. Also available are passes to the Children's Museum in Portsmouth also purchased by The Friends, and passes to the Museum of Science, The Aquarium and The Museum of Fine Arts purchased by The Merrimac Library.
Library Book Bags are still available in the Library
Large Burgundy or Black Bags are available for $10.00
Children's Tom Thumb totes
in Red or Blue are $7.00

Thank you to all those who donated books for our book sale and to those volunteers who helped set-up the book sale. A Big Thank You to all who came and bought books.
At our next meeting on 9/17/09 we will be discussing the date for the fall book and bake sale. Information will be posted on the library website so save your books!
