Who are we: The Friends are a non-profit organization created to help focus attention on the library and stimulate public support for its activities and needs. All money raised through membership and fundraising is used to support the library. All dues are tax-deductible.
What we do: Raise money that is used to help the library provide programming for children and adults; purchase museum passes, equipment and books not covered by the library budget; support an annual staff/volunteer holiday luncheon and an annual staff/volunteer appreciation event.
Raise funds through our annual membership drive and book sales, in April and Oct.
Encourage tax-deductible gifts, matching company contributions, endowments and bequests.
