WHO ARE WE:
           The Friends are a non-profit organization created to help focus attention on the libary,
           stimulate public support and assist in the development of  programming when requested.

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE::
           Our goal is to promote the resources, services and needs of the library.

WHAT DO WE DO:
           1. We meet once a month and discuss ideas for programming and fundraising.
           2. We assist the library in providing programming for children and adults, purchase
               museum passes,  purchase equipment and books not covered by town funds.
           3. We do fundraising through our annual membership drive; hold book and bake
               sales and encourage tax-deductible gifts, matching company contributions,
               endowments and bequests.
           The Friends have a book sale in April and a book and bake sale in October.
