About Us
Our Mission
The mission of the Friends of Historic Herkimer County is to preserve, promote and help maintain historic sites,structures, and locations in Herkimer County, New York.
Towards that end, the Friends of Historic Herkimer County will engage in research, publication, advocacy for historic preservation legistlation and funding, raising public awareness and appreciation for historic preservation, and oversee physical rehabilitation or restoration work and other tasks, as appropriate for the projects it undertakes.
How We Got Started
In here should be 2-3 paragraph history of the group including when and why the group formed (dates, motivational story?) and incorporation information.
Grants and Honors
Probably easiest to read and maintain if this is a bulleted list format:
