  Why there is terrorism in Spain and what they want?ETA (Euskadi Ta Askatasuna) means Basque country And Freedom. ETA is a consequent of something that started in the 19th century with Napoleon invading Spain and the civil wars that after that happen in Spain. So, Sabino de Aranacame to Basque Country with the idea of independence for the Basques, until this point the Basque never were pro independence. This nice Sabino had the idea of a Basque were industry were not allow, a rural society where Basque will be marry to Basque and intermarries between Basque and not Basque would not be allow. Mr. Sabino made of his life a continuous obsession for the Basque. Therefore, he created a flag that will represent Euskalerria or land of all Basque. This wonderful land will be the part of Spain and France were Basque was spoken at one point in History. The flag, which is the actual flag for the Basque Country autonomy in Spain, is green, red, and white. Green for the land, red for the blood of people and white for the purity of God. ETA, started like a movement of Basque liberation with the idea of create the idyllic land of all the Basques. They declared themselves as Marxist and Catholic. Unfortunately, it has been became more and more radical and bloodthirsty. Since 1980 the Basque country in Spain is one of the 17th autonomy of Spain. However, they have more freedom that most of the autonomies. In the Basque country there is a parliament that chose a Government every four year.
