Crash and Burn!

Me and my rocket!

My Rocket

The rocket I built is an average model and design. I painted it black with various decails. You cannot see the fins from the picture but I altered them to try something different. My flight turned out to be quite successful.

Some Info

Here is some information on my rocket...

Height: 428 ft.
Degrees from horizontal: 65 deg. (200 ft. from launch pad)
--Math for figuring height--
tan 65 deg. = X/200
200 tan65 deg. = X
428 = X

Time to point of apogee: 6.3 sec
Speed: 46.3 mph
--Math for figuring speed--
428/6.3 = 67.93 ft./sec x 3600 sec/1 hr x 1 mile/5280 ft. =
the speed = 46.3 mph
