�Okay, I�m officially getting sick of Orli. He keeps going on and on about Daphne and what a bitch she is. One more word and I swear I�ll either hit him square in the face or kick him out of my house!�
�I know what you mean. Daph is exactly the same. It�s seriously getting on my nerves.�
�Don�t you think we should do something about it before we really kill them?�
�You mean like in forcing them to talk about it?�
�Yeah, something like that.�
�What are you thinking about?�
�Well, just listen��
Daphne was just pouring some hot coffee in a cup when Dee came running downstairs and grabbed her friend by the arm, nearly spilling half the contants of the cup onto the floor.
�Daph, there�s a mouse upstairs!� the older one of the two exclaimed and Daphne raised an eyebrow while setting her hands on her waist.
�Since when do we have mice in here? And since when are you scared of them?�
�Since now. Just hurry up already before it�s gone!�
Daph rolled her eyes but followed her mate anyway, knowing that if she didn�t Dee wouldn�t leave her alone anyway. They arrived upstairs and the taller girl demanded �Okay, where is that beast?�
�In there.� Wendy whispered while pointing towards the cupboard where the girls kept the vacuumcleaner and brooms. Daphne opened the door and curiously stared inside the dark. The words �I don�t see a thing� just wanted to leave her mouth when a rough push in her back made her tumble forward and with a click the door behind her closed.
�Dee! What the hell!� Daphne yelled until a slight moaning from behind her scared her seriously.
�Daphne?� the familiar male voice asked her and she questioned in surprise �Orlando?�
�Yeah.�
�What are you doing here?�
�Lij locked me in here.�
�Lij?�
At that moment some manical giggles could be heard from outside and Daphne groaned loudly.
�Okay you two, you had your fun. Let us out now.�
�I�m sorry but things aren�t that easy.� Elijah�s voice filtered in and Orli moved around next to Daph.
�Wood, if you won�t let us out now I swear I�ll break every bone in your body next time I see you!� the Brit threatened but all Lij did was laughing.
�Now I�m scared Elf-boy. Seriously though, you won�t get out of there until the two of you have made up. You are getting on everyone�s nerves with your arguing and we want some peace for once.�
Daphne and Orlando tried to catch the look on eachother�s faces but the darkness wasn�t very helpful and they both sighed in defeat.
�Alright, me and Lij are going out now for a while. When we come back we want you to still be alive and talking like adults, understand? Bye bye.� Dee explained before footsteps were going down the stairs.
�Those bloody midgets just bloody tricked us into this!� Orli swore and Daphne nodded her head.
�We need to find a way to let them pay back, you know.�
�Of course. They won�t get away with this.�
Silence followed and the slight hope that the both of them still had on getting out of the closet soon was disappearing fast.
�What are we going to do now?� Orli finally asked and the girl replied �Waiting. There�s nothing else we can do. The other girls are out and nobody knows we�re here anyway.�
�We could play a game.�
�Yeah right, I always carry a pack of cards and a chess-board with me wherever I go. Sure.�
Orlando sighed deeply in annoyance and stated �No, nothing like that. We could play like�well, I give you the worst kiss I�ve ever had and you give me yours and then we compair which of the two is the most horrible one.�
�Very sophisticated, Orli.�
�Listen, I�m just trying to lift the mood here, alright! We might as well prove those two idiots wrong and finally admit we like eachother after all!�
�That we�re not arguing anymore is a good sign but does that mean we have to be all over eachother all of a sudden?� Daphne asked and the guy shot back �Yeah, why not? At least I�m not afraid to honestly admit it.�
�So let me get this right. You actually like me?�
�Yes, that�s what I�m saying right? Go on, make fun of me.�
But Daphne wasn�t planning on making fun of Orli. In fact she moved around so long until she was able to get ahold of Orlando�s torso and pulled him in for a rough kiss on the lips�
Two Hours Later�
Having spent some time on the beach Elijah and Wendy thought it was time to go back home again and free their mates from the small and dark cupboard.
�Do you think they�ve learned anything?� Dee asked and Lij just shrugged his shoulders.
�I dunno. I just hope that both of them are still alive. Luckily we made sure there were no weapons of any kind in that closet."
The first thing the couple did when entering the house again was silently listening if they heard any arguing or yelling, but everything was peaceful. They climbed the stairs and with a fast movement Elijah turned the key in the lock and pulled the door wide open. The sight in front of them both surprised and shocked the lovers : Orlando and Daphne had fallen asleep on the wooden floor, the girl�s head resting on Orli�s chest. He had his arm curled around her shoulders and the whole time would have been very cute if they had not been eachothers� biggest enemies.
�Shall we wake them?� Dee asked and Lij shook his head.
�Nah, let me get my photocamera. This is just wonderful to blackmail them!�
The actor�s actions however were stopped before they had even started when a deep voice exclaimed �No you won�t, Wood.�
Lij turned around, only to find Orlando laying awake on the floor, Daphne sitting up next to him with her arms around her knees.
�So, you think this was funny, right?� she asked looking angrily at Wendy, who just shrugged with a small smile and protested with �It was your own fault. If the two of you had acted like adults for once none of this had happened to you."
�Right, very adult-like to lock us up in a cupboard.� Orli shot back before getting up and stretching his stiff limbs �But don�t worry, we�ll pay you back. For now however we need to plan our revenge.�
�Like I said before, you�re not scaring us.� Elijah stated and Daphne grinned evily �No, not now just yet, but soon.�
�Right, I�m going now. Later all.� Orlando said and left the group without another word. Daphne looked after him and then returned her attention to the two smaller people.
�I�m off too. Need to think what�s the best way to hurt you without harming myself.�
And Daphne was off too, closing the door of her room behind her.
�Well, not even a �thank you�. How rude is that?� Wendy questioned and she turned back to Elijah.
�Now what we�re gonna do?�
�I know something�though it hasn�t got a thing to do with this matter.�
Dee grinned at that statement and grabbed Lij by the hand, leading him inside her bedroom to do some, erm, useful stuff�
After being chased by Daphne, Jenny finally had made it back to the girls� house. She was carefully checking if someone was inside but in the end knew that she no longer could stay outside and went back in. She tip-toed up the stairs, making sure that nobody was able to hear her, not wanting to talk to somebody at that moment. On the top of the stairs however she found the door to Dee�s room opened slightly, the soft sounds of voices and laughing drifting out. Jen risked taking a careful peek inside and nearly cried out seeing her mate and Elijah making out on the bed, obviously totally not aware of her presence. With much difficulties Jenny was able to peel her eyes off of the scene and entered her own room, slamming her door loudly behind her. Damn Wendy. Why was she so able to find love so fast and why was it so hard for Jen to convince the man of her dreams that she was the right girl for him? Life was unfair!
The blonde decided that drowning herself in self-pity actually sounded very good and she jump on her bed, burrying herself from head to toes under the covers�
Billy sighed deeply as he raised his hand to ring the bell to the girls� place, asking himself why he was there in the first place. Of course he had been pretty rude towards Jenny but then again she had been able to drive him up the wall with her constant affection. But she had reacted pretty shocked at his earlier confession and now, being the nice guy that he is, Billy wanted to make sure Jenny wasn�t too upset about his sudden outburst.
After waiting a little while the door opened and a bewildered Daphne stood in front of him.
�Hey Billy. How are things going?�
The Scot shrugged and put on a slight smile �Not too bad. I was just wondering if Jenny is alright. I was kinda harsh to her before and she didn�t react that good to it.�
�Right, so that�s why she ran away from me! Explains a lot I must admit. Well, I did hear someone shutting a door so she�s probably locked herself up in a new wave of self-pity. Want to speak to her?�
Billy shook his head fast and exclaimed instead �Nah, just tell her I was here and that I�m sorry for this morning.�
�Fine, I will.�
The actor had just barely made it around the corner again on his way to Elijah�s place when he bumped right into another solid body and fell to the ground.
�Jesus Bill, are you alright?�
Billy looked up and saw Dom�s familiar face over him, the usual crooked grin plastered onto his face but hell, why were his eyes so red all of a sudden? The Scotsman had no time to think however as Dominic grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back to his feet again.
�I�m sorry mate, I wasn�t really looking. Have a lot on my mind lately.� Dom explained, obviously more than just a little embaressed, and Billy nodded.
�Yeah, the Tamara-issue you mean.�
Do I wear a tattoo on my forehead saying �I like Tamara�, Dom questioned himself silently but then he remembered telling a certain someone about his feelings.
�Right, I�m gonna kick Lij�s arse. Can�t trust that guy.�
�Wadda ya saying?� Billy asked at his friend�s mutterings but Dominic just shrugged and replied � Yeah, the Tam thing. It�s confusing like hell.�
�Tried to talk to her without mentioning her boyfriend? It might work you know. That way you�ll be able to win her trust.� Billy gently offered and the younger one of the two smiled at that.
�Sometimes mate you come in handy. �Sometimes� being very important in that line.�
�Well�thanks�I guess.�
�No need to thank me. Anyway, let�s see if your strategy works.�
Billy laughed in approval and watched his friend walk over towards the girls� house�
Daphne swore loudly when only seconds after Billy�d left the doorbell rang again. For a moment she considered on not getting it but then she remembered it could be Orli wanting to talk about what had happened in the closet earlier that afternoon. She and Orlando had done several things but luckily neither Elijah nor Wendy had noticed something when finding them sleeping so close to eachother. They obviously thought it was all an accident and that they still hated one another but that was far, far away from the actual truth. That was the main-reason why she was disappointed to not find the hyperactive Elf at the other side of the door but Dominic.
�Oh Dom, it�s you.� Daph spoke and Dom�s face immediately clouded over.
�If you lot don�t like me just say so alright?� the Brit shot back, getting annoyed over the way some of the girls were treating him but Daphne just shook her head.
�Don�t be silly. You are welcome, it�s just that I was expecting somebody else.�
�Oh, I see. I�m sorry then.�
�Want to see Tam? She dropped something about being a bit too harsh on you last time I spoke to her.�
Dom�s face lit up at that and his ears coloured a deep red.
�Might as well take that as a �yes�. C� mon in.�
Dominic followed the redhead back inside and watched while Daphne yelled upstairs for Tamara to come down. She soon appeared and for the first time actually smiled seeing the person waiting for her on the sofa.
�Hey Dom.� She exclaimed and smiled shyly after that.
�I�ll leave you two to it then.� Daphne muttered before leaving again and Tam dropped down next to Dom.
�I�ve been a bit too harsh on you lately. I know you only meant good but Dom, I thought you were only saying that stuff to break me and Roy up. I hardly know you but I guess you were noticing all the hints and I should have split from him a whole lot sooner. He�s a bastard. Thanks for warning me, though.�
Dominic blinked at those words (which was probably the longest sentence Tam had ever spoken at once) and nodded in understanding.
�It�s okay. I was trying too hard to make you see, I guess.�
�I could help you trying to find a nice girl though. I know a lot of women who would love to go out with you.� Tamara tried to cheer Dominic up a little but he slowly shook his head. No, he wanted Tam, not some other girl. He�d rather wait a bit longer and see how things were going between them now they had made up.
�Thanks Tam, but no. I�m not interested in them.�
�Oh�right.�
Suddenly it all sank in and Tamara nearly started laughing. Of course Dom wasn�t interested in some girl she vaguely knew. All the signs were there: a goodlooking single man never being seen with a girl, sharing a house with Elijah, a very good cook doing all the cleaning, always nicely dressed. Right, Dom was gay! That had to be it! Tam grinned at her own stupidity and a silent plan started forming in her head. She would just hook Dominic up with a guy�
