We live in the world of information, yet we choose not to learn. Information is Knowledge and Knowledge is Power, so why do so many of us sacrifice power that can so easily be obtained? Because we'd rather have someone else live life for us, make choices for us, tell us how to live. Well if you think this is nonsense then maybe I can show you why it's not. |

Often I find myself unable to cope with the realities of life. Every day I dream of things I wish to be, and every night I end the same as I was the night before.
I'm sick of society controlling my life, I hate having to fulfill the needs of others in order to simply be. There was a time when I was truly free, the price I paid was tremendous. But never was I forced to do things I despised. Content I was in the day knowing that every night the chills would come gentler than before.
Why are we allowing the government to control our lives? If I'm not mistaken I thought it was supposed to be us controlling the government. I guess we can't handle a free society, hence the reason we have become capitalist pigs. But really, is it too hard to ask of some just to simply think? I guess so or things like freedom of speech and the right to privacy would not be endangered.
Congratulations to all of you who decided that you would rather be drones and let others think for you instead of making the choices yourself. Now those of us who have more than two brain cells must suffer the consequences of the ignorant. |
