Four-day seminar developed through Church Growth, Inc., with Charles Arn, Ph.D., and co-taught with Robert Grant, Ph.D., and Keith Taylor, D.Min., for the US Navy Chaplains Corps to all Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard chaplains and selected mental health professionals of SPINT, Family Services, medical services, and school counselors. A Professional Development and Technology Course for the US Navy. Curriculum development in 1997 by the team mentioned above. Dr. Parlotz produced the visual aids for all sessions and co-authored the training manual. Twelve seminars were taught in various locations in the United States, Europe, and Asia, 1997-1998.
"Spirituality and Trauma Care"
Presentation of a professional paper by Dr. Parlotz, who also co-chaired sessions on trauma and intervention, at the Third Working Congress on Conflict Resolution sponsored by the World Federation for Mental Health, the World Islamic Association for Mental Health, the Egyptian Association for Mental Health, the Cairo High Institute for Social Work (Egypt), the Institute for Victims of Trauma (McLean, Virginia, USA), and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health of the Arab Republic of Egypt with His Reverence the Grand Mufti Dr. Mohammed Tantawi at the Dar Al-Eftaa, Cairo, Egypt, 2-5 February 1994.

Seminar presentations numerous times in various parts of the United States at Junior Officer Leadership Development Seminars for the US Air Force Reserve Command and joint service Junior Officers Leadership Development Seminars for the Reserve Officers Association of the United States, 1989-1995.
"Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder"
Lectured in the Peoples Republic of China during 1992 as a guest of the Chinese Medical Association in Beijing, Nanjing, Wuxi-Jiangsu, and Shanghai. Lecture tour led by Bessel A. van der Kolk, MD, Harvard University Medial School through People-To-People.

Presentations and training seminars with the Department of Defense (US Army, US Navy, US Air Force), NATO, Sea-Tac Ministries of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Washington, Portland International Airport, Seattle-King County Red Cross, American Correctional Chaplains Association, Reserve Officers Association of the United States, police and fire department chaplains, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Salvation Army in Alaska, and Alaska Airlines.
